                Conn

Conn was sitting back in his dad's recliner half listening to Sheila and Dan converse over breakfast; while fiddling with his thumbs.

It had been two days already, and there was still no sign of Elin.

He couldn't stop worrying no matter how hard he tried.

"You okey Conn?"

Conn looked at his dad, and nodded slightly. "I can't stop worrying".

"He's bound to come around". Shiela said with a little smile.

But what if he doesn't? Conn thought.

Conn knew next to nothing about Elin. What if the kid was involved with something dangerous? Or he was kidnapped. Or he was lying dead in an alley.

The thought of Elin bieng dead made Conn even more anxious.

Out of habit he checked his phone for any new messages from Nick. But there weren't any.

Maybe I should text him?

Conn bounced his knee anxously while he typed out a quick 'Any new news?'

"Maybe we should file a missing person report?" Sheila said.

Conn knocked his knuckles on the arm of the recliner.

This entire situation was beginning to look pretty grim. Maybe involving the cops wouldnt be such a bad idea; But, on the other hand, it might just spark up problems.

Dan did lie to that social worker about Elin bieng here.

Conn wasn't sure what to do at this point.

He let out a sigh and ran his hands over his face.

I hate this. All of it.

Conn's phone buzzed in his lap. He glanced down at the screen and skimmed over the new message from Nick.

Actually, Elin showed up at the club last night.

What!?

He was about to reply when another text popped up.

He's asleep on my couch rn.

The text was linked with a poorly taken picture of Elin curled up on a grey sofa.

Conn shot off the recliner with so much force that it caused both Shiela and Dan to jump.

"They found Elin". He told them both with a grin.

Thank goodness! He's not dead.

"Your going to kill us". Willow snapped; after Conn barely avoided bieng run over by a semi truck.

A solid jerk of the wheel had saved both their lives.

He glanced at his (boyfriend?) and smiled sheepishly. "Sorry Will".

"Your driving like a madman!"

I feel like a madman. Conn thought to himself.

"Just relax Conn. Elin's still going to be there".

What if he's not?

To much time had already passed. From Conn recieving that message, to him swinging by Willow's apartment. On top of that it took nearly fifteen minutes before Nick sent him his home address.
