"What are you guys doing?" Blondie's-oh so joyous-voice rang out as he walked in. He eyed Conn and Willow for a moment before his attention turned on the tv. "For real? Family guy?"
I think we were about a quarter of the way done with season two. I had lost interest awhile ago, but Conn was refusing to let me out of his sight. So I was stuck on that couch.
To my utter annoyance Blondie sat down right next to me.
It wasn't a comfortable fit with four people on the sofa. Plus, I was in the middle.
"I've been texting you for the past twenty minutes Nick". Blondie snapped, "Why didn't you respond?"
Nick didn't even take his eyes off the tv as shrugged in response.
Blondie threw his thumb over his shoulder at Conn. "And what's he doing here?"
"I came by to see Elin". Conn said for himself.
"Who's the electric blue?"
"I'm Willow". Willow said.
Blondie grunted then his attention finally fell on me. "I thought you'd be gone by now".
Me too.
"You look bored".
"I'm actually under lockdown right now". I told him in a monotone voice. "Conn wont let me do shit unless he's right by my side".
"Right. That sounds lame".
I couldn't agree more.
He stretched his arms out above his head then he got back up onto his feet. "I hate to say it, but this 'party' is boring." He cocked his head at me. "Since your all healed up now how about you and I go ice skating. Like I said, I'll show you the ropes".
The offer was far from tempting, but it was better then sitting here all day.
"Yeah, sure".
"Naha". Conn said, "He's not-"
Blondie cut him off. "I wont loose him, jeez." He rolled his eyes, "I'll bring him back, dont worry".
Conn looked like he wanted to say more, but Willow interjected. "It's a great idea. Go have fun".
Conn gaped at his boyfriend. Willow just smiled and patted his cheek. "They'll be fine".
I was liking Willow already.
"Come on". Blondie motioned for me to get up. "We can swing by Daniela's and get her mum's car".
Blondie drives?
I wasnt exactly sure how I felt about that, but I got up nonetheless.
------------------
Blondie wasn't so bad behind the wheel. I was just worried about the fact that he didn't have a license.
He also told me that he failed driving school. Twice.
"So what's up with that Conn guy anyway?" He asked out of the blue. "He seems...overprotective".
I shrugged, and continued to pick away at a loose seam in the door.
"Have you known him long?"
I think it was around two months now since I met Conn Pros. "Not really". I murmered.
He thrummed his fingers on the steering wheel. "The other night...in the bar Mandy said you were taking Narcotics. Was she right?"
