              (TW mention of rape)

I hadn't expected Jae to be at the apartment when I walked in. But he was. He was sitting on the sofa (my sofa), legs crossed, a mug in one hand and a newspaper in the other. His round reading glasses were dangerously close to falling off the tip of his nose. Tho, he didn't seem to notice.

He was in his red morning robe, and his hair was unusually tousled. It looked like he had just gotten up.

Without turning to acknowledge my existence he said, "I've been calling you".

"I lost my phone". I told him while I took off my shoes.

"Do you need another?"

It was probably a good idea to have a phone on me, but I didnt need-or want his money.

"I'll get one soon". I murmered. I slipped into the kitchen and mindlessly opened the fridge. I wasn't in the mood to eat, but I knew that I probably should. I was sick of passing out on the group.

What I found in the fridge was mostly veggies, and packets of things I couldn't even read.

Why can't rich people have normal food?

I sighed and closed the fridge, then I started rummaging through the cupboards. I found some bread, and peanut butter. PB and J. Not very nutritious, but it would have to do.

I made myself a sandwich then hesitantly walked into the living room.

Jae looked up at me, through his spectacles. His expression was somber, but there was a storm growing in his gold eyes. "I'm throwing a party, here, tomorrow". He spoke slowly. "I want you to be present for it".

"What's tomorrow?"

"Christmas Eve".

I almost choked.

Already?! I knew it was coming up, but I didn't know exactly when.

I sat down at the dinner table, and basically force fed myself. Everytime Jae spoke, or even moved I felt bile in the back of my throat. I had to wait a couple seconds in between every swallow before I took another bite.

"How are your friends?" Jae spoke up, "I assume that's where you've been. With that lot of thefts".

"Fine". I answered harshly.

I didn't like the way he talked about them. Sure, yes they were thieves, but they were alot more then that.

"Are you going to sit there all day?"

I hadn't realised that I'd zoned out, and that my sandwich was gone. I didn't really feel like moving so I just shrugged.

I heard him sigh then get up. I watched, from the corner of my eye, as he walked over. I flinched when his hand came down on the table right next to me.
"Your not mad about the other night, are you?" He asked, his tone innocent.

Mad? No no no. I was fucking pissed, terrified, and sick to my stomach whenever I thought about it.

My muscles froze up when Jae leaned over me.

I wanted him to back the fuck up!

His cologne was suffocating me.

He. Was. Suffocating. Me!

A shiver worked It's way up my spine when Jae's hand gently started to caress the back of my neck. "It was only a bit of fun Elinis".

I shot up from my chair so fast that it almost tipped over; if not for Jae standing there to catch it.
