I'm not sure what you'd call the area that Mitch lives in. It's secluded from the city, and frankly I dont even know if he has any neighbors.

His house is up on a hill. The only way to reach it is to drive through the network of gravel roads he had privately installed when the house was first constructed.

I honestly think his entire estate is cool.

Although his home building is a little wacky.

It was a modern place.

From the outside it basically looks like a bunch of giant rectangular boxes stacked onto one another. It was very...artistic.

But it definitely beat Jae's apartment.

"Out of the car Elin".

Jae's sharp tone snapped me out of my thoughts.

I internally groaned when I realized we had arrived already.

I pushed open my door and wrestled with my crutches. The damn things were pissing me off. If it wasnt for Jae I wouldn't have even brought them.

"My favorite Nephew!" A voice boomed.

I cocked my head in the direction of the house. Mitch was standing in the doorway with his arms spread out wide, and a huge grin on his face.

He was still in his night robe, and he wasn't wearing a shirt. Gross.

"Uncle Mitch". Jae cheerfully greeted his uncle. "How long has it been?"

The two guys shared a quick embrace before Mitch pulled away and glanced over at me. "Two weeks James, but...." He wiggled his pointer finger in my direction. "You. I haven't seen you in months".

I crossed my arms over my chest (just in case he attempted to hug me), and tried to work up a smile. I failed miserably.

"Excuse my rudeness but how in the hell do you put up with this downer, tequila boy!?" Mitch clasped Jae on the backside. A string of heavy chuckles left his lips and his smile brightened. "I know I know I shouldn't dis out my nephew, but it's a blast".

Jae looked pissed, but he was smiling through it. "Your never a let down Uncle".

"Never". Mitch declared.

You know maybe coming here wasnt such a bad idea after all. It was obvious Mitch enjoyed picking on Jae. And I was going to relish in every second of it.

Seriously! He called Jae James just a few moments ago.

"Why dont you invite them in Mitchy?" A voice from inside called out. It was definitely a women's voice.

Probably Mitch's girlfriend.

I'm pretty sure Jae said her name was Kelly.

"Right!" Mitch exclaimed, "Come on in".

What about paper guy? Did he Serously have to wait out here until we were done?

I glanced back at the car.

Mitch must've picked up on what I was thinking because he suddenly said; "Your chauffeur is more then welcomed to join us".

"He's fine with waiting". Jae said.

"Nonsense James. Tell him he can come in, won't you?"

"Of course".

When Jae was out of earshot Mitch leaned over and whispered. "My nephew wouldn't have any decent manners if it weren't for me".
