"What are you doing here?" I asked. I was more stunned then anything. I mean, this was really out of the blue.

Instead of answering me she marched over to where I stood and clonked me on the head with her knuckles. "What the hell is wrong with you Rhenna?!" She scowled.

"Me?" I gaped at her. "Your the one going around clunking poeple on the head!"

"You deserve it".

Why did I deserve such ill treatment? She's the one that randomly quite at the club then disappeared.

"Why did you up and leave?" I asked.

She crossed her arms and leveled me with a hard stare. "I was just taking after you".

Ouch.

I clamped my mouth shut. I had nothing to say to that.

"You look horrible". She scrunched her nose, and leaned away from me. "You smell just as bad".

Well isn't she the nicest.

"I haven't had time to shower". I mumbled to my feet.

Or the motivation.

"You better make time. Your not coming to the dinner table until you smell bearable".

Why was she bossing me around? This was Rachael's house. She didnt get to make commands like that.

"I think a shower would do you good". Derrin said from the couch.

Seriously? I could barely hold myself up.

"Sit on the ledge if you get too faint". He added.

"Someone could help you, if you want". Nick put in.

Was he offering?

"I dont have anything to change into". I mumbled.

"I can find you something of Alex's". Derrin offered. Before I could decline he got up and walked around me, and Mandy; into the hall.

I guess that's that.

"When I get out I wanna know why your even here". I told Mandy before leaving to the bathroom. Again.

I really hope that I dont fall asleep this time. Apparently I have a habit of dozing off in places that I shouldn't.

Truth be told, I've been doing it since I could remember.

--------------------------

Alex's clothes were a bit big on me. Not huge, just loose. The sweatpants were a little long, and the sleeves came past my fingertips. The only thing that fit perfectly was the hoodie. It was a simple grey pull on one with italic lettering on the front. I couldn't read what it said because some of the letters were faded.

I set my clothes in the laundry basket that Derrin told me about; then I combed through the snarls in my hair.

I refused to look at myself in the mirror the entire time.

When I was all spruced up I left the bathroom.

Everyone was loitering around in the kitchen so I joined them. Mandy was the first to notice my silent presence walk in."Look at that", she mused, "You look much better".

I didn't really believe her. I felt...more comfortable, but I still felt dirty.

"You need a haircut kid". Reggie said. He was standing next to the stove top with a bowl in one hand, and a dripping spatula in the other.

I could say the same about him. His hair was almost twice as long as mine. It was also pulled back into a messy man bun.

Besides I liked my hair at this length. I could hide behind my frock of bangs.
