For the rest of the month, Clark and Lois tried to follow their stories. Of course, there were many good things to write about, so they had many articles that could be published over time. After a while, things had slowed down and the two focused on what they needed to write, though Lois oddly was more than okay with Clark spending time with Bruce and Dick.

Apparently, Bruce had to fire the old babysitter and his new chauffeur because they were ignoring their jobs to hook up. And the babysitter had been trying to leave hidden cameras to watch him get naked.

When the Kryptonian had heard that, he felt angry. A little too ready to punch the perverted woman into the next state, but he pushed that aside. It was confusing on how quickly he became that mad, but he easily rationalized it as more than just an invasion of privacy and trust, but she could've also put Dick at risk. Plus, he would like to think that he and Bruce were something akin to friends.

After that, Clark unofficially became Dick's babysitter, which neither minded. He learned a lot about the boy, and surprisingly about the city and how many shortcuts there were. Another surprise was that the boy began to nickname him Papa, which he thought was cute and never failed to put a smile on his face.

"Papa?" Bruce asked, giving the pair a faux look of hurt. "But I thought I was your Dad."

Dick grinned and practically monkey jumped from the reporter to the billionaire.

"You are my Dad! But Mr. Kent is Papa! You both look like my Daddy, so why not!" He chirped happily, nuzzling his head into the man's neck.

Bruce's heartrate spiked for a moment, his brows furrowing into a look of guilt. He then gave Clark a soft smile.

"Looks like we're a couple, Mr. Kent." He hummed an octave lower.

A quiet shiver went down the Man of Steel's spine, a blush forming on his cheeks. He quickly nodded, his throat closing up on him. He had no idea what to say in that moment, or situation!

"Dad! You broke him!" The young boy whined, playfully slapping the billionaire's chest.

The dark-haired human laughed genuinely and gave Clark a warm smile that made his eyes seem like the endless blue pond back at home.

"Sorry that I keep breaking you, Mr. Kent."

"P-Please, we know each other more than that. Call me Clark." His own voice naturally dropped lower, drumming in his chest like low thunder.

Bruce's heartrate spiked again, a warmth creeping up his neck. He had already admitted to himself that he liked Superman as the charming Countryside Clark Kent, but... He didn't realize that there was some seductive charm mixed in!

"Alright, Clark." The name effortlessly rolled off his tongue, making the warmth creep all the way to his cheeks before he wished the man a goodbye and hurried off like a scared rabbit.

When they got into the car and were a few streets away, the boy started to cackle. His blue eyes were gleaming like demonic pools.

"Can I be the ring bearer?" He teased, causing that red blush to burn even brighter.

"Oh quiet you... You set this up, you know who he is!" Bruce growled, but there wasn't much bite or coldness to it.

"Yup! And he seems to like you too~" The boy hummed.

The Batman scoffed and rolled his eyes. There was no way that Superman liked him as either Bruce Wayne or Batman.

"I can show you the past two years." The boy offered, a bragging smirk on his face.
