Clark groaned as he was thrown to the ground. The training room they were in had red lights that kept the Kryptonian as weak as a human. Which honestly was good, because he was getting his ass handed to him by Dick! If he had his strength, he'd likely hurt the kid.
Bruce laughed loudly, clapping his hands to call back the speedy gymnast. He couldn't believe how little defense Clark knew! He thought the guy at least had some defense!
"Alright, Dick, time for bed. Me and Papa need to have one on one. Seeing as he needs to start at square one."
The young boy huffed a little, but then snickered and nodded. He gave Clark a quick hug before bouncing away. The reporter chuckled, smiling after the small boy.
"Did you," he motioned after the kid.
"Teach him everything? Yes, I did. Now I'm going to teach you." His tone was teasing, him walking onto the mats.
The reporter laughed a little, moving back into position. Bruce chuckled, getting into his own position.
"Go."
The word barely had time to be in the air before the alien found himself on his back and the billionaire pinning him down with a smirk.
"You move so slow for such a fast man~"
Clark blushed darkly, glancing away. He then tried to roll them over so he would be on top, but that just made the other put more pressure on him. That infuriating smirk grew, him quirking his eyebrow.
"How?" He asked incredulous. "How the hell can one human like you be so damn sexy?"
Bruce's hold on him loosened, his face becoming warm and his heart racing. This surprise allowed the reporter to toss the billionaire off him.
The Gothamite grunted as he landed on his back, yet with his training he jumped back to his feet before his partner. He waited patiently for the other to get up, which he did a few seconds later.
"Are you a trail by fire?" The glasses-wearing man huffed, a concerned look on his face.
"Not usually." Was the laughed response.
"Oh..."
The two men's tensed bodies relaxed, walking closer to get back in position.
"So, did you just want to see me pinned?"
Bruce's face flushed once more, his steadying heart picking up again. Mockingly, he glared at the other.
"You keep your guard too low. Stand like this."
Clark nodded, shifting a little to mimic how his teacher was standing.
'Maybe we made him uncomfortable... We should apologize...' The Kryptonian thought, ashamed of his words. His mother taught him better than to say such things!
"S-"
"Keep your arms close to you and a little higher. You want to block attacks toward your face and chest." As the human spoke, he helped reposition the other into the proper form.
'He shouldn't interrupt us.'
"Makes sense." The slightly taller man hummed, pushing that thought aside.
"And," the eligible bachelor leaned close to his ear, "maybe I did~."
The sky-blue eyed man looked to the other, his face quickly growing warm. He opened his mouth, but he found himself back on the ground. He grunted, glaring up at the other.
"That's low."
"Says the one on his back."
Out of retaliation, the alien swiped the legs out from under him before rolling to his feet. Bruce, not expecting that, had fallen down. He saved himself, using the momentum of his fall to roll into a crouched position. The two men glared at each other, before suddenly bursting into laughter.
The two stood back up, the billionaire gave him a satisfied smirk. A smirk that made the Man of Steel feel strange.
"Seems you know more on the attack than actually defense. We'll start there."
With that said, the pair went back to training. Many times, Bruce had roughly thrown or pinned Clark to the ground. The longer they stayed in the red training room, the weaker and more human the Kryptonian became. It was almost enjoyable to be forced to learn to dodge and properly attack.
Yet, that wasn't the best part in his mind. No, it was how he welcomed every touch and every critique, that had left strange and addicting feeling behind. To have Bruce's attention solely on him. To have him alone, thinking of him. It was almost as if he was on cloud nine!
By the end, both were lightly bruised, both smiling and panting happily.
"You did good, for this being your first session." He hummed, slowly standing to his full height.
Clark couldn't hold back the gleeful grin on his face as he stood up.
"I have a good teacher."
Bruce chuckled at that, shaking his head a little.
"I think you were holding out on me. That leg sweep isn't something many amateurs can do." He raised a quizzical eyebrow.
Clark shrugged, shifting a little.
"Played a bit of football back home."
Bruce scoffed, rolling his sea-blue eyes. He moved passed Clark, motioning with his head to follow.
"I hope you don't mind Alfred taking you home?"
The billionaire turned to the other, tilting his head a little in a manner that stopped the Kryptonian from breathing. Without thinking, he cupped the most eligible bachelor and kissed him.
The kiss was quick and rough, the two separating the second they heard the knock on the door. Clark blushed a deep red, his eyes wide as he tried to think up a reason on why he had done that. Bruce seemed to have been in the same spot, which gave the embarrassed alien enough time to slip away and leave with the family butler.
Bruce touched his lips, trying to will his heart to calm down. He was getting too attached to him... Too invested in this relationship, one he wasn't entirely sure on what to think of and about. Yet, he was beginning to like it more and more with every passing day.
Shaking his head, he decided that he was going to take a cold shower to collect his thoughts. He really needed to reorganize them.
