Just be aware, this title is probably more excited than the rest of this fanfic just so you know, in case this is (hopefully not) boring you so far!

Also, this isn't based on any experiences or my own experience, I am too broke to go to Twitchcon, so essentially, some parts of this are very obviously made up. Sorry!

Just don't question it though, you will break the immersion.

I could hardly believe my eyes when I finally got off of the plane, landing in an airport in The Netherlands. It wasn't any different to a British one, but it's the thought that counts. There was one problem though, it was that I didn't speak ANY Dutch. I was glad I had my friends with me, with Google translate at the ready; they typed way too quickly for their own good.

We made sure to keep some extra snacks leftover from our travel bags, and on the way to the hotel, we ate them all, crumbs and all. And as for Scarlett, she even had a few licks of the packaging. She just laughed it off though, Lily awkwardly sat next to them, as Scarlett ate whilst leaning on Lily's shoulder.

Once we arrived at the hotel, we went over the room arrangements. The arrangement for hotel rooms were essentially Scarlett and Lily (this was by choice, also Lily was just there to keep them sane), and Maisie was meant to be with me, as Dondu asked to have her own room due to religious purposes, but since Amira had tagged along last-minute, she was staying with me, and Maisie had booked an extra room.

Damn, that's a lot of people now that I think about it.

We didn't have any family with us (excluding Amira, and Brodie would be here on day 2, in his own room, which he had volunteered to pay for, but Scarlett had insisted to pay for him, as he wasn't rich or even partially famous, like us), but in all honesty, we were all pretty thankful for it. We all had shit childhoods, Scarlett and Brodie somehow being the exception, as them and their parents were actually on good terms, but everyone else, including me, weren't even on speaking terms. Maybe I could reach out, but-

-"Taylor, stop rambling!"-
-"Sorry!"-

After a pretty long (short) sleep, I woke up at around
6:30 in the Dutch timezone, but whatever time difference that was to the UK, I wasn't too sure. Amira was still asleep when I woke up, but in fairness, she was the only one who didn't fall asleep on the plane, and was probably extremely jetlagged. Meanwhile, I was just out the second the plane got into the air, due to having only had two hour sleeps for the last two weeks.

Anyways, back on topic.

I checked my phone, and remembered about the small clips I had filmed the day before, both on the plane, and before the trip. I planned to make a vlog about Twitchcon, and I was understandably excited to go to the event.

In all honesty, I just wanted popcorn. Maybe I had some in my bag? I wasn't too sure. I was hungry.

Where was the food?

Oh yeah, in Maisie's room. Because she's the only person who won't start a house fire (besides Dondu occasionally having to cook slightly different meals for herself, but none of us have an issue with that, and it also meant one less chance of a house fire).

Half an hour later, we all met up in Maisie's room, to:

A) Get our stuff together.
B) Help Lily get into the inflatable duck costume they had bought, just for Twitchcon. They weren't wearing it to the Tubnet-Craftmaster event though, they had a separate plan for that, that we all got roped into.
C) Help Maisie pack snacks (most important reason)
D) Get together a plan for the day.
