Asia walked into her office on Monday morning feeling on top of the world. Her front desk secretary Tamela jumped up from her chair  before Asia could even get both feet in the door.
"Ms. Logan, you have a very urgent message!" she announced with a huge goofy smile.
"Good morning to you Tamela. Thank you, I'll take it now." Asia said.
"Oh, I'm so sorry, good morning to you as well." Tamela corrected herself as she quickly handed Asia the message. Once Asia was inside of her private office space, she closed the glass door behind her. After putting down her purse and laptop, she sat at her desk and read the message slip:

'Looking to buy a private residence and land for a new studio. I look forward to working with you. Thank you.  -Mr. Tyler Perry.'

"Whoa!" Asia shouted out loud to herself.
She picked up the phone and immediately dialed the number at the bottom of the note.
"Good morning, this is Asia Logan returning a business inquiry from Mr. Perry". She spoke confidently.
"Oh, yes. Good morning Ms. Logan. I'm so glad you reached out to me. I was referred to your agency by Winston Lakes, he said he was very impressed with your knowledge of real estate here in Atlanta as well as your professionalism. He raved about your talent as an interior designer as well." He applauded her.
"Wow! Mr. Perry, I'm very flattered by your compliments. We would be thrilled to help you find the perfect property to fit your needs."
"I can't wait to meet you and work with you. Listen, my assistant will send you all of the particular details for what I'm looking for and we will touch bases soon." He explained.
"Of course, thank you Mr. Perry. Have a blessed day."
"No, thank you Ms. Logan. Be blessed. Goodbye now."

"Holy shit!" She whispered to herself. Asia knew that if she could pull off this sale, it would be the biggest client her agency had ever serviced, and closing both of those deals would solidify her firm as a top player in the Atlanta real estate market. She was so excited she wanted to scream! But she wondered, who was Winston Lakes? And why was he going around Atlanta telling people that she was a designer? Asia was puzzled, but excited none the less. As soon as her office received the details on what Mr. Perry was looking for, her and her team went into overdrive searching for the perfect listings.

When Nick got home from the studio the next morning, he was greeted with a puddle of puppy pee at the elevator doors, and Rocket was nowhere to be found.
"ughhh." Nick groaned as he went into the kitchen to get some wipes and clean up the mess. After tiredly making his way up the stairs, he saw Rocket sleeping in the hallway outside of his bedroom door next to the birthday gift that Asia left for him.
"Aw man, I'm sorry Rocket. Daddy a lil late comin' back to take care of you." He said as he pet the puppy behind his ears. Nick put more food and fresh water into his bowl before picking up the box with Asia's gift in it and laying it down on his bed. He had been so busy at the studio that he forgot all about opening the birthday present. He sat down and ripped open the box to find a framed document that showed a map of a large star cluster. The certificate indicated that star number CYGNUS-7181994 had been officially registered as Kirsnick Khari Ball. He dug deeper into the box to find a custom Versace robe that had the artwork from his solo album, The Last Rocket hand stitched in multi colored silk threads. A handwritten note fell from the robe that read:

'You've always been a star! Happy Birthday. Love, Asia'

Nick smiled to himself at the fact that Asia was as good as it gets. Overwhelmed with emotion, he laid back onto his bed and called his mom.
"Mama!" Nick shouted into the phone and laughed.
"Hey baby, how have you been?" Mama Treet asked in a loving tone.
"You know, I'm good. Tired, but it's all good. We been in tha studio heavy, layin' down these tracks." He updated his mother.
"I know y'all are in grind mode. How are the boys?" She asked.
"Qua and Set been at each other's necks. I walked up in there last night and they was shoutin' and fightin'. They got me feelin' like I'm in tha middle of they bullshit." Nick confessed.
"You are in the middle, you're the glue that holds everything together. Just pray on it and keep pushing baby. They will work it out." She said.
Mama Treet always had a way of easing his doubts and keeping him focused.
"Ma, i gotta ask you somethin'..."
"Yes, is everything ok Kirsnick?"
"So, I'm really feelin' a way 'bout dis girl-"
"Please don't tell me you're talking about Kendra?" Treet asked, cutting him off.
"Nah Ma, I don't truss her thotty ass. All she ever want is money! She cussed me out and threw a fit a couple months back when I said I wasn't gonna buy her a car." He complained as he took a long drag of his blunt.
"Oh wow, I'm not surprised. Kirsnick, I keep telling you to be careful about the company you keep. A lot of these girls aren't genuine." Mama Treet warned.
"Yeah, I know Ma, but I'm actually talkin' bout Asia". He admitted.
"Aw Kirsnick, you and Asia have been dating? Since when?" his mom asked innocently.
"Nah, I mean, we don't date. Shit, dats tha thing, see? Girls jus always come to me, I ain't never gotta sweat it. I ain't never really even took a girl out on a real date before. I'on even know how I'ma ask her. Asia got me feelin' all nervous and shit." Nicked laughed.
"Asia has always been such a sweetheart, and she has a good head on her shoulders. Now Kirsnick, If you're just going to play around with her-"
"I'm serious Ma! She special to me, I ain't playin' no games 'bout her." Nick responded quickly, intercepting his mother's lecture.
"Alright, well then, you have to show her that she's not just the average girl to you. Baby, when are you coming over to let me do your hair? Come over and I'll put you on game." His mother promised.
"What kinda game you finna put me on Mama?" Nick asked, laughing hysterically at her.
"I'll show you, don't worry. See you soon". She said.
"Bet." Nick agreed.
