Nick and Asia spent months adjusting to the long days and sleepless nights spent feeding, burping, changing and soothing both baby Jedi and baby Sky along with juggling the demands of running their businesses. Nick came home on a Friday afternoon to find Asia in a deep sleep with her silk blouse open exposing her nursing bra as the breast pump machine filled with milk. The twins were swaddled and sleeping next to each other in their bassinet by the sofa as his exhausted wife hung onto her slumber for dear life. Nick walked over quietly and turned off the breast pump. He pulled the blanket over Asia's shoulders to keep her warm and kissed her on the cheek before gazing over at the twins and smiling to himself as he watched their little bellies rise and fall with each breath. "They're beautiful aren't they?" Asia spoke softly. "Yeah...they are." Nick glowed. "I thought you was sleep. You feelin' aight?" He asked lovingly. "I'm okay, I just needed to rest my eyes for a second." She smiled brightly. "Shit, I feel you on dat. Can a nigga come over and rest beside ya?" He asked playfully. "Of course!" Asia said as she unlatched the breast pump tubes from her bra and laid them aside. Nick cuddled in close to her on the sofa, leaning his head on her shoulder as she cradled him in her arms and stoked the top of his head. "I'ma have to find a manager for tha shop. I can't be puttin' in all these hours in tha studio and still tryna order and unpack merch and alla dat shit. I can't do it all." Nick mumbled with his eyes closed as Asia's tender touch lulled him into a deep relaxation. "I agree. You definitely need some help babe." She said. "Aye, speaking of help. You still down to help Qua and 'nem wit tha baby shower tomorrow right? I'll watch the babies." "Yeah, I'm going to help Deja set up in the morning. She's really nervous, I'm going to have to find a way to calm her down." Asia said in a weary tone. "Unc been trippin' too. Between him takin' dem night classes for school and stressin' over Deja and tha baby, dat nigga been on my nerves." Nick rubbed his eyes with his hands and took a deep exasperated sigh. "Don't worry, everything will turn out fine." Asia said. "Speaking of fine, when ya lil fine ass gone get cleared? I wanna show ya sumn." Nick rubbed the inside of Asia's thigh as he flashed her a mischievous smile. "Let me guess? Is it the rocket stick?" Asia laughed. "I have my 6 week session with Jasmine on Sunday, she'll let me know if I'm properly healed." "Nah, you know I'm jus playin' wit cha. You jus let me know when you ready, ain't no rush. A nigga been so got damn tired lately, I barely got enough fuel in tha rocket to fuck wit cha anyway." He shook his head dramatically. They both laughed at the beautiful reality of their newly hectic schedule and made light of all the heavy things they had on their plate.

On Saturday morning, Asia rolled over tiredly to find that Nick was already out of bed. She pulled herself up slowly, grabbed her silk robe and made her way downstairs, curious as to what Nick and the twins were up to. She walked into the kitchen to find Nick sitting in a chair at the breakfast table in front of both babies while he juggled feeding them each from a bottle. "Mornin' baby!" Nick greeted her with a smile. "Good morning daddy bear, I see you all are up early." She smiled back. "Hell yeah, you know they got they appetite from me, they woke up starvin' Marvin so I figured I'd feed 'em while you got some rest." "I appreciate that babe, thank you. Ohhhh, what's this?" Asia asked excitedly as she walked closer to the white marble countertop of their kitchen island. "You already know what goin' on! Had to have Doordash bring a lil Waffle House for us dis mornin'. I done ate mine already, but gone 'head and get sum baby." Nick laughed as the twins gulped down their milk. Asia quickly ate her waffles, hash browns and eggs before getting dressed and heading out to help Deja set up for her baby shower. "See you in a few hours babe, you sure you're going to be ok with them?" Asia asked worriedly. "Yeah, I got 'em, everything gucci. We gone meet y'all over there." Nick reassured his wife.
