Nick's family gathered at Johns Creek at sunrise on a beautiful sunny Sunday morning. Asia sat next to Deja on a big rock by the creek bed while Quavo sat alone further down, writing in a journal.
"Is Qua alright?" Asia asked.
"Yeah, he's good. Nick really inspired him to build a connection with God. He taught Qua to wake up early in the morning, pray, and write his intentions for the day. " Deja explained.
"Yeah, that sounds like Nick." Asia smiled. "He always finds a way to get everyone around him to operate at their best."
"Speaking of operate. What's up with operation baby daddy? Did you tell him yet?" Deja asked in a whisper.
"Not yet. I'm going to let him know when we get back home today. I'm so nervous." Asia admitted.
"Don't be. He'll be excited, I'm sure." She said as she playfully bumped Asia's shoulder and smiled.
Mama Treet, Edna, Lingo, and Heaven smiled and swayed as they enjoyed the warmth of the sunlight that peaked through the trees and caressed their skin. The presense of God was in the breeze, and the scene was peaceful and serene as they awaited Nick's baptismal.

Pastor Greyson lead the line of parishioners to the the edge of the water. He raised his hands to the sky and said an opening prayer before begining the baptism.
"We are gathered here today under the presence of God to make the souls of these chosen few anew. When God makes a pathway for you in this life, the path will not always be smooth, but it will always lead you back to Him. You are about to enter into a convenient with God that cannot be broken my man, or any worldly intervention. Let us bow our heads in prayer. Matthew Chapter 18 verse 19 reads, 'Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of age. Amen." The pastor recited.
"Amen." The congregation said in unison.
One by one, Pastor Greyson prayed, held each partitioner in his arms like a father would hold a child, and dipped them into the fresh water of the creek, cleansing them of their sins. When it was Kirsnick's turn, Mama Treet and grandma Edna held each other and cried as they watched him turn over a new leaf. He looked so beautiful in his silk white kaftan, and the soft purified glow that exuded from him after he had been washed left everyone in a joyful mood.
