After coming back from the Christmas trip in the mountains, Nick and Asia began the task of unpacking all of their boxes at the new house. Asia held a box in her arms as she walked past one of the smaller of the 6 bedrooms upstairs. She paused and sat the box down on the carpet and stood in the doorway of the tiny room. The walls were painted a soft buttercream color and the previous owners left behind decals on the walls of little woodland animals floating on hot air balloons. She paused silently and touched the emerald pendant on her neck that represented the baby her and Nick lost. She was paralyzed with grief when Nick found her standing there.
"Baby, you aight?" He asked.
"Oh, um...yeah, I was just admiring how cute this little room is." She said.
Nick reached down and laced his fingers between hers.
"It's gone be aight Asia. You'll be pregnant again real soon, trust God."
"Yeah, I'm sure you're right babe."
"And, I mean, the way I been up in that thang, you probably got one cookin' in the oven right now, shit." He teased as he pinched her hips. Asia giggled and playfully pushed his hands away, sparking a flirty play fight between the two.
"Aye for real though, c'mon." He said as he picked up the box that Asia had placed on the floor. "We gotta start getting ready for this party tonight. My black ass gone be on time this time." He boasted.
"Yeah right!" Asia laughed.
"Aye! New year, new me!" He said with a laugh.

The New Years Eve traffic was impossible heading into downtown Atlanta that night. Nick leaned his head back and blew smoke into the air of the Rolls Royce cabin as him and Asia relaxed in the back seat. Once they reached the W Hotel, they met up with Offset, Cardi, Quavo and Deja in the hotel lobby bar.
"Ahhhh! Oh my gahhh!" Cardi yelled dramatically with her tongue out.
"Asia, I ain't seen you in so long. You look good bitch!" She exclaimed.
"Aw, hey Cardi! Thank you, you do too. I love the blond hair on you." Asia complimented her.
"Ya know, dis jus a lil shum-ting lite for tha night!" Cardi laughed loudly.
The two of them embraced each other with a hug and Asia walked over to greet Quavo and Deja as Nick talked with Offset.
After checking into their rooms, the couples split up to prepare for the New Years party that the guys were hosting at club Crimson.
Asia helped Nick straighten the collar of his red and black silk Gucci shirt as he slipped on his signature Roekado spaceman chain, Gucci sunglasses and sprayed himself with Yve Saint Laurent L' Homme cologne. Nick zipped the back of Asia's backless black and silver beaded Revolve dress while she gave her hair a once over before leaving the suite. They looked and felt like new money as they made their way back downstairs to meet up with the group and head to the club.

Club Crimson was packed from wall to wall. Hundreds of red and gold balloons floated on the ceiling, neon lights glowed, red roses lined the walls of the VIP room, and champagne bottles and Cuban cigars sat on ice in anticipation of an epic night. Cardi balanced herself on all fours and twerked on top of a table when the DJ played her song She Bad. Offset buried his face underneath Cardi's dress as she danced, leaving the VIP group to fear that the two might just strip naked and have sex in front of everyone. Asia and Deja danced in a circle with each other as Nick fixed his eyes on his fiancé, visually feasting on her beauty while smoking his blunt. At 11pm, the guys took to the main stage to perform fan favorites such as Handsome and Wealthy, Bad and Bougie, Motorsport, and Versace. The crowd screamed out every lyric and danced along as the time wound down closer to midnight. Asia, Cardi, and Deja stood next to each other in the VIP section with twinkles in their eyes as they watched the trio make magic on stage.
