Marshalls POV
I came home to a note on the front desk. "Went to help our son. Dont forget your phone next time. See you <3" it reads. I picked my phone up off the desk. I called Misty.

"Babe, what happened?" I ask.
"It wasnt Grand-Fa. The kingsmen struck again. They set the convenient store on fire. Luckily it wasnt open and no one was inside." She says.
"Do you need me to head over there?" I ask
"Yeah, Spotter got hurt" she says
"What?! Why didnt you start with that?" I say rushing to the car.
"Sorry! Ill see you in a sec" she says and hangs up.

I ran up to my family. "Are you ok?" I ask. "Im fine dad" Spotter says. "What happened?" I ask. "You know that guy that runs the orphanage? Zane, I think his name is. He was walking past when the building bursted out in flames. He still called even though he was injured. When I got here, he was laying in the road in pain so i helped him. When I actually got the hose to put out the fire, it bursted again and shot me back. I still managed to stop the fire though. My ribs just hurt a little now" Spotter says. "Thank god you're ok. Wheres Zane?" I ask. "The ambulance is over there" Misty says. I ran over there. "Ms. Kingsman!" I say. She works at the hospital. I understand that she isnt part of the kingsmen. Its part of my job to treat people fairly. "Marshall" she says as I approach. "Is Zane alright?" I ask. "He will be ok. He's going to be sore for a few days though" Dr Salem said walking to us. He doesnt like nurse Ivy because shes a kingsman but I cant stop that. I walked to the ambulance. "Hey Zane. Are you ok?" I ask. He nods. "Did you see anything?" I ask. "Not any people no" he says. "Dammit" I say. "But i did see the gasoline canisters beside the building before they got burned. Thats why I stopped to look" he says. "Thanks Zane. Feel better" I say. "Ill try" he says.

Karis POV
I came home. Dad always works late so I wasnt surprised he isnt here. Mom left a note about an emergency call. I heard more talking than usual. My brother, Aries, usually plays onlien video games but this is way more talking than just a game. I knocked on his door. "Bro?" I ask. "Yeah, come in" he says. He's on his bed, on his phone. I looked at his closet door and its closed. "Hi Sapphire" I say. Aries looked at me surprised. "Oh come on mr. Im scared something will come out of the closet if the doors are closed" I say. He rolled his eyes. "That was a phase" he says. "A hilarious one" Sapphire says exiting the closet. "You need a better hiding spot. If I was mom, youd be dead" I say. "I know" Aries says. Sapphires dad is Dex Salem. He works with my mom at the hospital, and they hate each other. I dont know what theyd do if they found out about Sapphire and Aries. "Its good to see you Sapphire" I say. She smiles. "You too. You enjoy your first day of school?" She asks. I shrugged. "I made a friend. Thats more than I expected" I say. She laughs. Aries is just staring at me. "Ok ok, Ill leave. Do you know when our birth givers get home?" I ask. "Dad will be out till ten and mom should be back at seven" he says. I nod. "Bye Sapphire. Let me know if you get tired of carrying him around my love" I say. "You know I will babe" she says. We've talked to each other like that since I can remember. Its all in good fun.

Skylars POV
Im laying on Zoe's chest. "Sky?" She asks. "Hmm?" I ask. "You have to go home" she says. "I am home" I say. She smiled. "You have to go back to your apartment" she says. "I dont want too" i whine. "I know, but you have too." She says. She got up and tossed me my shirt. "Ill drive you home babe" she says. "Ok" I say.

I got back to the apartment at eight. I tried to subtly walk in but I should know thats impossible by now. "Where have you been?" I hear. I turn to see Dominic. I breathed out. If it was Jasmine or Reo, Id be screwed. "I was at Zoe's. Doing- homework" I say. "I know you were at Zoe's but you dont have to lie. You have never done homework in your life" he says. "Then why did you ask?" I ask. "Because you didnt text us like you normally do" he says. "Shit. I forgot" I say. "Jasmine covered for you. The person that believes the homework excuse, is mom" he says walking away. I walked into my room. All the girls share a room. "Thanks" I say. Jasmine gave a thumbs up. "I didnt expect to be out so late" I say. "You were still home before Kamila" she says. "Where is Kamila?" I ask. "With Astro. You know those girls, all they care about is shopping and boys" she says dramatically. We laughed. "Wheres mom?" I ask. "Shes with Shane" she says. We rolled our eyes. Shane is our moms boyfriend and we dont like him. We dont hate him per-se but he's not a great person. He's another reason on my list of why not to come out.

Bellas POV
I came home and dropped my stuff in a corner. "Hi Bell, how was school?" Ash asked. "Hi dad, it was good" I say. "I heard theres a new Kingsman in your class" Ash says. "Yeah. She sits in the back and Im in the front so I got lucky with that" I say. "You are aware of how we feel about the Kingsmen... right?" Alec asks. "Yes father, Im aware. I hate them too. I didnt come in saying 'hey my new friend is a Kingsman!' so why are you being weird?" I ask. "We just want to make sure you weren't getting ideas" Ash says. "God no, Id rather her not be in the class at all" I say. "Then maybe you should kick her out" Alec says. "Yeah right. If I could, I would" I say. They high fived behind their backs but I didnt say anything. They're up to something, again. I wish they would talk to me about it but they never do.

Aces POV
"Kids, you're gonna have a sub at school tomorrow so be nice" mom says. "What why?" I ask. "Because its common curiosity" she says. "No, why do we have a sub?" I ask. "Oh, I have a date" she says. "What?!" Spade and I said. "Calm down" she says. "With who?" Spade asks. "Uh, his names Connor. He works at the convenient store" she says. "The one that blew up?" Spade asks. "Its the only one in the town kid" mom says. I snarled. "Why are you mad?" She asks. "He hates me. He said Im the girl version of a tramp" I say. "He what?" She asks. "Yeah! Thats why I dont go to the store with you anymore" I say. "Ill talk to him. Im sure he didnt mean it the way you're thinking. Besides I doubt he would've asked me out if he hated you. He knows you're my daughter" she says. I rolled my eyes. "Good luck" I say going to my room. My phone buzzed. I smiled seeing Kari's name. "Hey" i hear. I jumped. "Dont do that Spade. You scared me" I say. "I really dont like your new friend. I dont think shes a good influence on you" he says. "We met today Spade. How could you possibly know the impact she'd have on me?" I ask. "I know you dont smile at just anyones texts" he says. I stayed silent. "Dont fall for her Ace. Its for your own good" he says leaving. Who is he to tell me whays good for me? Thats my decision. Just because he doesnt like someone doesnt mean I cant be their friend.

Aidens POV
I did some research on the Kingsman in Bellas class. Shes my cousin. We were close when we were kids. I miss her. She and Aries were fun to hang out with. My dad got me dragged into this so now Im stuck. I wish I didnt have to hurt Kari. She doesn't deserve it.
