Harleys POV
All the kids left to bring their partners home. Reo went to Hunters apartment to hang out. "They picked good ones" I say. "Yeah, not sure how cause I dont seem to have the same luck" Nova says. "Ouch" I say. She rolled her eyes. "Oh come on. We tried and failed. I was more talking about Shane" she says. "Yeah I get him, but why am I a failure?" I ask. "You arent. We are" she says. "Why? Because we made mistakes? Thats normal Nova" I say. She stared at me for a moment and her eyes widened a little in realization of what Im doing. "No Harley. Dont do this. I worked my ass off to get over you" she says. "So did I! But meeting these kids... our kids, has made me see you again... the way that I used too. The way that makes me see how beautiful you are, how you're funny and how I love everything about you. You're sarcastic remarks, your gross habits, even when you get mad I love how cute you are. Please Nova. I wont bail on you again. Trust me" I say. She ran her hand through her hair. "Harley" she breathed out. She stared at me not knowing what to do. "My bus leaves tomorrow afternoon Nova. I know you want me to stay. Just say it and Ill stay" I say. She dropped her hand from her head and stared at me hard. The door knob jiggled. Nova shrugged and started to walk to her room. I stared at her as the door opened. "Hey mom" Skylar says. I watched the door close before I looked at Skylar.

Skylar left. All of the kids came back one by one and I convinced them all to go out tonight. I need more time alone with Nova. I went to Novas door and cracked it open. I stood in the doorway. I can see her shadow in the bathroom. "You could have knocked first" she says. I didnt speak. I just stood there and stared at her shadow. It stopped moving and I knew she was looking to the side, waiting for me to speak. A few minutes passed and I sighed. I guess she really doesnt want me here. I backed off the doorframe and walked to the front door. I walked out, closed the door and started for the stairs. I heard the door slam behind me and running. Nova snatched my arm and I turned around to look at her. "Stay" she says panting. I smiled and kissed her. She kissed back and wrapped her arms around my neck. We pulled back and smiled at each other. We heard cheering from below the stairs. I leaned over the railing to look. Its my kids. Skylar is recording and the rest of them are cheering. I laughed and looked at Nova. "You should've known" she shrugs. I rolled my eyes. She laughed and we kissed again. "Do you wanna go to my hotel?" I ask. "No. See theres one thing I can do that you cant" she says. "Whats that?" I ask. "Scare" she says. I raised an eyebrow and she smirked at me. "Get out of here!" She growled at the kids. They scrambled like there was a shooter or something. I laughed. "Yeah I definitely couldn't do that" I say. She smiled, took my hand, and led me inside.

Zephyrs POV
I told Wyatt Id get him from the fire station. I took Patchs car. I walked in and Misty sat at the desk. "Hi" I say. She looked up. "Oh... hi" she says. This is awkward. "Wyatts in the showers. He'll be out in a minute" She says. "Ok" I say. I sat down and looked at my phone as if I had anything to look at. I dont have friends so I dont really have much use for my phone. "I heard you're staying" Misty says. I looked up. "Uh, yeah" I say. "Thats good. Good for Wyatt. He needs you" she says. I smiled and looked back down. This is so awkward! "Hey" she says. I looked up at her. "I get how it feels to be the new person in a family. I may not understand everything you went through but I can at least get that" she says. "I dont even know if I want to be in this family. Its such a big change in such little time" I say. She smiled at me. "I get that too believe it or not. In my senior year, my parents moved me here from Dark City. I was furious with them, but I wouldn't have changed a thing" she says. I smiled. "Patch needs you Zephyr. He's... sensitive. He needs someone to come home to and share his day with." She says. I laughed. "He needs to leave his home" I say. She laughed. "He's afraid. The last time he left home, he came back with a child. I know its a big change for you, but its a lot for him too. Just give him a chance." She says. "Im trying" I say. Wyatt came out. "Hey mom" he says. "Hey, come on" I say. He left and I looked back at Misty. She smiled at me. I smiled back and followed after Wyatt.

Wyatt is at Lunas. "Patch?" I ask. "Yeah?" He asks. I walked into his bedroom. He's sitting at his desk with a single lamp on. I flipped the light switch and he jumped. "You need to rest Patch. Youve been overworking yourself" I say. "Im fine. This is nothing like what I normally do" he says. "Patch, go to bed" I say. I walked up beside him. He looked up at me. Now I see what Misty was saying. He is afraid. I can see it in his eyes. Worst of all, I can tell that he's not just afraid of leaving. He's afraid of me. I put my hand on the side of his face. "Please. Go to bed" I say. His eyes widened a little. "Ok" he says. He stood up and walked to his bed. He pulled off his shirt and I felt my face get hot. He turned to me. "Oh, sorry" he says. He's just as hot as the night he knocked me up. "Its ok" I say. "Was there something else you needed?" He asks. I shook my head and left his room. I stopped right outside the door. If Im going to be his girlfriend and make this family work then I cant be scared either. I went back in his room and shut the door behind me. "Change your mind?" He asks. "Shut up" I say. I walked up to him and pecked his lips. He stared at me confused for a moment. I awakened something in him. I can see the hunger in his eyes now. He's still afraid to move though. "Patch" I say. "Yeah?" He asks. "Do it" I say. He sped at me, picked me up and kissed me. I wrapped my legs around him and he laid me back on the bed. We laid like that, making out until I pulled back for breath. We stared at each other. "I think I love you" I say. "I can roll with that" he says. "Itll be interesting to do this sober" I say. "Ill wear a condom this time" He says. I laughed as he kissed my neck.
