Spades POV
"So hows the plan coming?" I ask. "Good. Todays the day shes gone forever" bella says. "Awesome" I say. I saw Ace and Kari across the courtyard. "Hey... why do you want to do this exactly?" I ask. "Shes a kingsman" bella says. I watched Ace and Kari share a quick kiss. Im not mad though. Its weird. "Right" I say looking down. Bella looked at the two of them and then at me. "She'll be ok" Bella says. "No. She wont. She never is" I say. "Are you actually upset?" She asks. "I dont know" I say. "Spade..." she says. I looked up at her. I hesitated. "Maybe they were right. She isnt one of the kingsmen. She just has the last name. Look at her Bella, thats not a criminal. Thats just a girl" I say. Bella looked at Kari and then at me. She walked away. I may have just lost my girlfriend. I looked back at kari and saw her walking with Andy. I slowly followed them.

Karis POV
I told Ace what they were planning. "I cant believe Spade would go that far" she says. Andy came up to us. "Kari, come with me" he says. "Shit" I groan. I followed him and we went into the principals office. "Ms. Kingsman. Please have a seat" the principal says. I sat down. Andy stood at the side of the room. "So, we've received several complaints from the mayors office about you and its gotten a little out of hand. Im afraid we have no choice but to expel you" she says. I put my arm on the desk and rested my head in my hand. I sighed. "Of course" I say. The door busted open. "Wait wait wait!" I hear. I turned around. "Spade?" I asked. "You cant expel her. Those complaints are fake. I was apart of the plan to get her expelled. This is just the execution of the plan. She hasnt done anything wrong. Get me in trouble, expel me. I dont care. Just dont punish Kari" Spade says. "They came from the mayors office, Spade. Why should I believe you?" The principal asked. "I can help with that" Bella walked in. Im in pure shock right now. "I had my dads do it. Karis innocent. Im truly sorry Kari" Bella said. "Its ok Bella. You came through in the end. Thats all that matters" I say. She smiled at me. "You guys know Ill have to bring you in right?" Andy asks. Spade and Bella looked at each other. "We know" they said. They intertwined their hands. "Take us in officer" Bella says. Andy gestured for them to follow and they did. "You can go to class Kari. Sorry for this" the principal says. "Its alright. Thank you" I say.

"What happened?" Ace whispered when I sat down. "Its ok. Ill tell you later" I say. She held my hand and squeezed it. "Im glad you're ok" she says. "Me too" I say.

Ashs POV
"Bella bailed on the plan boss" I say. "So you failed" Stephan says. "Yes sir. Im sorry sir" I say. "Wheres Alec?" Travis asks. "He's dealing with the mayors work right now sir" I say. There was a short silence. "Get out of here. We'll summon you again when we need you" Travis says. "Yes sir" i say. I left and breathed out. Im actually kinda glad that Bella confessed. I dont want her to get hurt. She shouldn't have to be wrapped up in this too.

I came back to the office. "Are we fired?" I ask. "No but we're on notice" Alec says. I whistled in relief. "Apparently theres a family thing going on right now so he's kinda distracted. Thats probably the only reason we arent fired" Alec says. "Well, Bellas suspended now so what are we gonna do? How do we hide this from her now?" I ask. "She'll be busy with her boyfriend. Everything will be fine" he says.

Spades POV
"You're crazy!" Ace says. We're home. "Why would you agree to that Spade?" Mom asks. "I didnt like Kari! I wanted her gone!" I say. "Whyd you change your mind?" Ace asks. "Because... she makes you happy. I dont want to ruin your life which means I cant ruin hers" I say. Ace smiled. "You're still grounded but because you did it for your sister, you can still have your phone" mom says. "Actually, you can have my phone. I only really need one thing" I say. Mom raised an eyebrow.

"I cant believe you got your mom to let me over after what we just did" Bella says. "Two week suspension with no electronics and no leaving the house is gonna be hell" I say. "Yeah well, I will come over everyday to keep you company. We're in this together" she says. "Why'd you change your mind?" I ask. "For you. I dont wanna lose you" she says. I smiled at her. I hesitated. I leaned into her and gently kissed her. She smiled.

Bellas POV
Im walking home after leaving Spades. Kari ran up to me panting. "Bella!" She says. "Did you run around town looking for me?" I ask. "Yeah. I gotta tell you something" she says. "What?" I ask. "My cousin found me a while back and told me about what you were doing" she says. Im stunned. "Like... the actual kingsmen?" I ask. She nods. "Trust me I was just as terrified as you look right now. He told me that the kingsmen want me expelled because they think Ill join them, which I would never." She says. "But... the plan was my idea" I say. "No it wasnt. Who gave you the idea?" She asks. I raised an eyebrow. "My dads reminded me how much I hate you and then it started I guess" I say. "Exactly. My cousin told me everything because he wanted to protect me or something. Your dads are working for the kingsmen" she says. My eyes went wide and my breathing picked up. "No they're not" I say. "Im sorry Bella, but its true" she says. "No. There's no way" I say. "You deserved to know. Im really sorry" she says. She slowly walked away. I stood there in shock.

I came home. "Hey bella" Dad says. "Hi dad" I say. "You're right on time for dinner" Ash says. I walked to the kitchen counter and sat down. My dads are talking about whatever. My hands are shaking and its making the fork shake. Alec slammed his hand on the counter laughing about something. I flinched and dropped the fork. They stopped and looked at me. We all just stared at each other. "Did you just flinch? Did Spade hit you?" Alec asks. "What! No! Spades a gentleman. Im just not feeling well right now. Im gonna go to bed early" I say going to my room. Everything thats ever happened to me is rushing through my head. I dont know if I believe Kari but if shes right, it woulf mean that not only am I living with criminals but that they were perfectly fine with using me as a pon in their game. The worst part is, it all makes sense. My dads have always been very secretive about their work. I figured it was because the mayors stuff is private but now that I think about it, the mayor shares everything with everyone. All the pieces fit and its making me nauseous. I started heaving in and out. Tears started running down my face. I curled into a ball under the covers. Please dont let it be true. It cant be. It just cant.
