Bellas POV
"Your mom is right babe" Spade says. "I know. Its just too soon. I cant see them. Not yet" I say. "Im not saying you need to go tomorrow, but you should probably go soon" he says. "I just... I dont know if I can forgive them for what they did" I say. "You dont have too. You just have to accept that it happened" he says. "How will seeing them make me accept it?" I ask. "I dont know, but it might do something" he says. "I really dont want to listen to them beg me for forgiveness the whole time" I say. "Do you want me to go with you?" He asks. I nod. "Please" I say.

Jess's POV
I got a rental car. Im about to scream my head off at these two ding bats. I walked in and the guards brought me to a table while they brought out the idiots. I sat down. I rested my elbow on the table and put my head in my hand. The two walked into the room. They stopped in their tracks seeing me. Ash turned around and tried to leave but Alec grabbed him and they walked to the table. They sat down. "What the hell were you thinking?" I snap. "We didnt have a choice Jess. What are you even doing here? I thought you left" Alec says. "I did. Bella called me. She sounded distressed over the phone and when I got here I could see how damaged she was. She looked awful. She practically had a panic attack in my lap when she told me what happened" I say. "Of course she tells you what happened but not us" Alec says. Ash looks like he's about to cry. "She hasnt told anyone. She told me and her boyfriend. Shes been living in hell because of what happened. Because of what you two caused" I say. "Listen Jess. If we didnt join thr kingsmen, Bella and both of us would be dead. It didnt matter who we sided with. We would still be here and she would still be mad at us" Alec says. "No. If you went the other way, they wouldn't have kidnapped Bella. You could have saved her so much trauma" I say. "Really? You think Diane and Stephan wouldn't have betrayed us anyway? They never cared about us or Bella. They would have done it either way. We just gave them a viable reason" Alec says. Ash put his head in his hands on the table. "Why didnt you just turn them in? You could have stopped this so much earlier" I say. "We were scared Jess! We're human" Alec says. I sighed. We went silent for a moment. I took a deep breath. I calmed myself. "Enough about her. How are you two holding up?" I ask. Alec looked at me confused. "You're not exactly built for prison. I mean... you kinda are but Ash definitely isnt. Plus, I know that you're hurting too" I say. Alec rolled his eyes at my comment. Alec looked at Ash, as if to ask if he wanted to go first. Ash still hasnt moved from his position on the table. Alec sighed. "Im upset that Bella wont see us. She wont let us apologize and its killing me. She wont tell us anything. Not what happened or anything about how shes doing now. All she told us was how she jumps at stuff and how they-" he stopped himself and looked at Ash. "I just want to see her. I dont care if she yells at us more or tells us how much she hates us, I just need to see her" Alec says. I reached across the table and put my hand over Ashs hands. "Ash. Talk to me" I say. He lifted his face to look at me. His eyes are red. "I havent been sleeping much. I just keep picturing her being tortured. I can picture it all. I know them enough to know what they would do to her. I just cant bare it. I wish she would keep us updated. I need to know that shes ok. That shes safe. That shes not alone. I miss her so much" Ash says dropping his head as tears fell down his face. "Everything will be alright. Shes doing good Ash. Shes staying at Spades. Shes safe with him. I know you both miss her, but you have to give her some time. Shes still processing everything. I think she misses you too though" I say. "Yeah right" Alec says. "Really, she does. She cries, not because of what happened to her, but because her dads betrayed her. She loves you so much thats its stopping her from accepting that this really happened. She does miss you" I say. Ash sniffled. "Thank you" he says. I nodded.

Bellas POV
"Are you sure?" Spade asks. "Yeah. I need to do it myself. Just wait for me, ok?" I say. He nods. I walked in and was brought to a table. Ash walked out first and stopped immediately. He stared at me for a moment before walking to the table. Alec followed behind him. We didnt say anything for a moment. "Hi" I said. "Hi" Alec said back. "Why are you here?" Ash asks lightly. "I uh... I needed to see you" I say. "You did?" Alec asks. I nod. "Im sorry for snapping at you. Especially you dad" I said looking at Ash. "I went to see Aiden after I saw you last time. He told me why you stayed. Why didnt you tell me that?" I ask. "I didnt think it was important" Alec says. I shook my head with a smile. "It is though. Im sorry Ive been avoiding you. Thats not fair to you" I say. "Its ok Bella. We understand" Ash says. "I know mom came to see you. I dont know what she told you but, I called her because... I guess I needed to feel like something was still normal" I say. Tears welled up in my eyes. "But it really only made me worse. Having her to talk to, only reminded me that I dont have you anymore" I say. "You'll always have us Bella." Alec says. "But it wont be the same. You do realize, you wont see me graduate high school right? You wont be there when I get my first apartment. When I need advice for life style stuff" I say. They looked down. "Yeah we thought about it" Alec says. "Im still mad at you, but that doesnt change the fact that I love you" I say. They looked up at me. "And that I miss you, and that I need you" I say. "We love you too" Ash says. "And we miss you more" Alec says. "Does this mean you forgive us?" Ash asks. I gripped the table. I know my answer will determine whether he sleeps or not tonight. "Yes" I say. They smiled. "But! Im still mad at you" I say. "I can live with that" Ash says. "So, we saw you bailed Aiden out." Alec says. "Yeah. He deserves to be free" I say. They looked at each other. "If I had enough money, I would bail you out too" I say. They looked back at me. "We have bail?" Ash asks. "Did you pay attention in court at all?" Alec asks. "Not really" Ash says. I giggled. "So, how have you been? Just in general" Ash asks. "Um, good I guess. I got the lead female role in that movie that Tyler made" I say. "Seriously?" They say shocked. I nod. "When he gets it sold, Ill buy a copy for you" I say. "What else did we miss?" Alec asks. "Patch and Zephyr got married and shes prego. Tylers dating Aiden and has some deal with this big company for his movie. Spade got a new car. I keep stealing it from him" I say. "We missed a lot apparently. What about you?" Ash asks. "Well, schools fine I guess. Im only having trouble whenever its to loud... which is almost always. I cant watch the stuff I like on netflix anymore. Its too scary, which is something I never thought Id say" I say. "Im sure youll be able to watch your horror films again. You always run back to the gore" Alec says. "Yeah I do" I say. "Hows Spade?" Ash asks. "He's good. He's been so kind with everything going on. He hasnt pushed me to talk or do anything" I say. "Im glad you're staying with him. He's good to you" Ash says. I smiled. A guard came in. "Our times up" I say. "Come back soon?" Alec asks. I nod. "I love you dads. I wish I could hug you" I say. "Us too kid" Alec says. "Bye" I say walking out.

"You ok?" Spade asks. "You know? I think I am" I say with a smile. "Im glad to hear that. You even look a little better." He says. "You saying I didnt look good before?" I ask. He rolled his eyes. "You know Im not" he says. I laughed. "I know. I just like torturing you" I say. "Oh yeah? You haven't been like this in a while. Its good to have the old you back, I missed her" he says. I wrapped my arms around his neck and his went to my waist. "Get used to it cause Im back" I say poking his chest. He smiled and kissed me.
