I came home and slammed the door. "You ok?" Dad asks. "You were right dad. Shes not worth the time of day" I say. "Ok, I never said that. What happened?" He asks. "She talked shit about my friends because they're gay, and then I told her how Im bisexual and she got all pissy" I say. "Yeah that sounds like Maria. She doesnt like people unless they live up to her standards. Thats why I couldn't stay with her. She yelled at my sister" he says. "Aunt May?" I ask. He nods. "She wasnt always aunt May. Around the time you were born, she would have been uncle Matthew" he says. "What?!" I say. "Yep. Shes trans. When Maria found out, she wouldn't let May anywhere near you and she nearly smacked her. I finally had enough and told her to leave" he says. "I never would have guessed. She looks so much like a girl. Not that she isnt one! Im just saying!" I say. He laughed. "I get it, you're fine." He says. "Maria had always gotten on my nerves, but I would just laugh it off. Kinda like when you Wyatt argue all the time, except I couldn't see that she wasnt joking" he says. "Im really sorry dad. I should've told you I invited her. I should've told you about the letters she sent and texts that I never responded to" I say. He looked at me confused. "I knew" he says. "What?" I ask. "Im the one who got the mail Luna. I leave the mail on the counter for you to go through but that doesnt mean that I didnt look at it" he says. "Oh" i say looking down. He smiled at me. "Hey, Im not mad. You dont have to be ashamed" he says. "I just didnt want you to see it because I thought you wouldn't let me read it" I say. "Im not cruel Luna. I know you wanted to stay in touch with her." He says. He hesitated. "Do you still want to talk to her?" He asks. I looked up at him. "No. Not really" I say. "Thats ok Luna. Ill handle it, ok?" He says. I hugged him. "I love you dad" I say. "I love you too Luna" he says.

Im in Wyatts room. He's holding me in his lap. "Im sorry babe. That really sucks. Are you ok?" He asks. "Yeah, Im ok. It just hurts" I say. "I know. Do you wanna change the subject?" He asks. I looked at him and nodded. "Good because theres a rumor that had sex with Bella in ninth grade" he says. I chuckled. "Are you jealous?" I ask. "Uh, yeah! Shes hot as shit! Im not blind!" He says. I laughed. "Relax. It was a one time fling" I say. "So it actually happened?" He asks. "Yeah. She took my virginity and I took hers... and then she made me forget my name." I say. He's stunned. "Look, you have nothing to worry about. Are you mad?" I ask. "No of course not. Im just confused why you didnt tell me" he says. "I promised Bella I wouldn't say anything. We were both really embarrassed when we woke up the next morning" I say. He growled. I know he doesnt like it when I dont tell him things. "Look, when we woke that morning, we quite literally screamed. Both in fear and confusion. And then I fell out of her bed and hit my head on her nightstand" I say. He laughed. I smiled. "You feel better now?" I ask. "A little" he says. "Please dont be jealous babe. Bella and I havent been close for years" I say. "Im a little jealous but Im not gonna be overprotective or anything. Ive seen you and Bella together before. You dont have any chemistry so I dont really care" he says. "Thank you" I say. "However..." he starts. I raised an eyebrow. "I would like to one up her" he says. "Oh? And how would you do that?" I ask. "You said she made you forget your name? Im gonna make sure you cant walk at school tomorrow, and if Im lucky, Im gonna try to get you to cry" he says. I cant move. Im confused, shocked, and turned on at the same time. "Ok" I say. That was so lame but its all I can manage to get out. He smiled and kissed me.

Coles POV
"Hey bitch!" I yell. Shes at the bus stop. "You're just gonna leave?" I ask. "She doesn't want me here so why should I stay?" She asks. "Shes your daughter. You need to at least apologize" I say. "I wont apologize when Im right!" She says. "You're not right! God, you're such a narcissistic asshole that you cant see how many people you hurt around you. You know what, go. Go back to Dark City and be your selfish ass licking self. I hope you meet someone just like you so that when you dont meet their standards, you can feel the same way you made Luna feel. The same way you made my sister feel. The same way you made me feel" I say. The bus pulled up. She just stared at me in shock. I crossed my arms and shook my head. "Maybe if you pulled your head out of your ass, you could see all the shit you left behind for me to clean up" I say walking away.

Aidens POV
"Aiden could you get my bag out of the car? I think I left it in there" aunt Ivy said. "Sure" I say. I took the keys and walked outside to the car. I unlocked the car but before I could open the door I felt a hard cold splat against my back. "Ow!" I yelled. I turned around and theres three middle schoolers on bikes. "Theres the kingsman. Get him!" One of them said. They started throwing water balloons at me. I flipped up my hood and liftef my arm to cover my face. One of the balloons hit my waist where my gun wound is. Its still wrapped up and Im supposed to take it easy but that definitely opened something. I gripped my waist and fell forward onto the car. My knees buckled with the pain and I held onto the top of the car with my other arm. "Hey scram!" Aries yells coming outside. I heard the kids bike off. "That explains what took you so long. You ok?" Aries asks. I dropped to my knees and leaned my head on the car. "Aiden? Whats wrong?" He says kneeling to me. I lifted my hand off my waist and its red. "Mom!" Aries yelled. "Hold on Aiden" He says running inside.

Im fine. Aunt Ivy was able to re-wrap my wound. I now have to sit here shirtless because it hurts to wear my shirt. Still wearing my jacket though. "Wyatt found those kids parents. Needless to say, they will not be attacking you again" Kari says. "Thanks Kari" I said. "I still cant believe that happened" uncle Diego said. "They're kids. They dont know or car about the good things Ive done. They only know one thing and thats that I was a kingsmen. They have every right to throw stuff at me" I say. "No they dont. You dont deserve to be stoned Aiden" Kari says. "You mean water ballooned?" I ask. She chuckled. "Either way. You dont deserve it" She says. "This only happened because they know Im here. I cang keep taking up space in your house" I say. "You're not taking up space. We told you, we're family, you can stay here as long as you need" aunt Ivy says. "I know, and Im thankful. But what I need and what you need is different. All I need is a stable place to stay. You all need a safe home, and you cant have that if Im here" I say. "He's right" uncle Diego says. "What?" Kari said. "Im not happy about it, but he is right. Him staying here puts us all in danger. Theres gotta be some way we can help you" uncle Diego says. "We can help you find your own place" Aries says. "That was a very quick suggestion" Kari says. "Yeah, Ive been helping Sapphire look for her place." Aries says. "Are you moving out?!" Aunt Ivy says. "Uh..." Aries says. "Aries is right. If I find my own place, you wouldn't be in danger. I say we go for it" I say. I mostly did that to save him from the awkward tension. "Ok then. Looks like we're going apartment shopping" Kari says. "Oh. Theres a problem. Shopping with what money? Im broke" I say. "Ill cover it" aunt Ivy says. "I cant ask you to do that" I say. "You didnt ask. I volunteered. Think of it as a gift for helping Kari not get expelled and for putting yourself in danger to save Aries" she says. "If you say so" I say. I feel guilty using her money. Although, its gonna be pretty hard for me to get a job. "If you need some work, you can work at the fair. I own it so its not like you're not gonna get the job. Plus then you know you wont get fired. Unless you're that bad at selling tickets or handing out balloons" uncle Diego says. I laughed. "I think I can handle that" I say. "Great. We have a plan then. Get some rest. We'll go tomorrow when I get off from school" Kari says. "Ok" I say.
