the group made their way to the dock grabbing rotxo on the way there
"you guys suck. invite me next time"
"bro you were SLEEPING" ao'nung tried to reason with his friend but rotxo wasn't buying it
"sure whatever you say" rotxo rolled his eyes. they all sat in a circle shape and it looked like they were sacrificing someone. tsireya had said to copy what she was doing to the best of their ability. tsireya, ao'nung, and rotxo started to slow their breathing with longer and deeper breaths.
"imagine flickering a flame," tsireya said while moving her fingers in a flicker motion. the sully's and tsu'fey started breathing like they were and fey could feel her heartbeat slowing down. lo'ak wasn't getting it so tsireya put her hands on his lower stomach and chest. fey and neteyam saw his face go pale bro was so nervous they laughed at him quietly so he didn't notice
"breathe from down here" she looked concerned for a second "lo'ak your heartbeat is fast" tsireya looked confused she had no clue
"right sorry" lo'ak tried to breathe slower and deeper
ao'nung reached over and put his hands on fey's stomach and heart to tease lo'ak so she played along and acted dramatically nervous
"gasp fey your heartbeat is fast," he deadass said gasp
"oh, golly gee i wonder why?" she acted so shocked. he removed his hands while the group laughed and lo'ak looked so embarrassed while kiri just rolled her eyes and smiled
"i don't get it" tsireya still looked confused
"good" lo'ak was so glad she didn't get it. the rest of the group understood the breathing technique so they went to eat while lo'ak and tsireya tried some more because lo'ak is a slow-ass mf.
kiri went to find tuk because she was supposed to be feeding her ilu and kiri couldn't see her and got worried. neteyam and fey were walking back to their mauri to find jake and neytiri.
"im so tired" she had no clue why she was so tired but she was dragging her feet in the sand
"see who is the baby now huh?" neteyam looked at her with an i told you so look
"fuck you" she shoved him slightly but she should've known better than to start this game
"oh really? i know what will wake you up" he picked her up and started walking closer to the water
fey was flailing around trying to get away from him "PUT ME DOWN IM AWAKE I AM UP"
"nope you started this" he threw her in the cold morning water and damn did that wake her up
"i hate this game" she didn't even try and retaliate because it would end with her losing even worse. she didn't want to go in the marui soaking wet but they were kinda designed for that so she assumed if all the beds were rolled up she would be fine. she still decided to wait until she wasn't dripping anymore so neteyam went without her.
when neteyam walked in neytiri and jake were preparing breakfast for the family. the two looked up from what they were doing and jake looked at neteyam with a questioning look
"when did you two become friends?"
"she deserved to get thrown in the water that's it"
"whatever you say. where were you two this morning then?"
neteyam was slightly frozen by the question WASNT THIS MF SLEEPING HOW DOES HE KNOW
"i am not sure where she was but i couldn't sleep so i was out walking"
