The Vicious Wife

Prologue

Before Marriage,

Seeing as the man in front of her was not budging, Roseanne let out a sigh. "There is no way that I will marry you."

"Why? Am I not good-looking enough? Or do you think that I am not as rich as you? Or is it... that you want me to court you properly and let you experience being in a relationship before marriage?" Roseanne's eyes bulge in surprise and disbelief. How persistent! How could this man talk about marriage so casually as if it was not something that would change their whole lives?

"I already promised myself that I would live out the rest of my life without a man," she declared.

"But you need a husband in order to claim your grandfather's inheritance."

"Why am I not surprised that you knew that?" Roseanne said sarcastically. "Let me ask you this, President Park, why do you want to marry me? It wouldn't be as simple as me being your first love, right?"

"What if it was really as simple as that?" he asked.

"I won't believe you." She looked straight into his troubled eyes. "There is no such thing as love."

"Then why not marry me, and I will use the rest of my life to prove to you that love exists"

Roseanne was speechless at this man's shamelessness. Park Jimin gave her a smile. "Give me a month to court you. After that if you still think that I don't deserve to be your husband, I won't bother you anymore."

"A month?" she raised an eyebrow.

"Yes, I will prove to you that I have no ill-intent towards you. I just want a chance."

After Marriage,

"So? What do you want as a compensation?" Park Jimin asked her once again before laying down next to her. His elbow was resting on the ground and his palm was supporting his head as he looked at her intently.

The first thing that Roseanne noticed about Park Jimin when he laid next to her was his exposed tanned chest. This made him look more casual... and hot. She didn't even realize she was staring at the latter.

"Why are you staring at me like that?" He smirked at her. "Do you want me to compensate you with my body?"

Roseanne immediately rolled her eyes at the latter. "Who wants your body? Hmp! I want money!"

"Your mind is always thinking of money but your body actually betrays you. Am I right to say that I have a shameless wife?"

"Hah! I am a strong and independent woman of the 21st century. I know what I want. But if you insist on giving your body, I will take it too!" Roseanne shamelessly said, taking off her stilettos. However, just when Roseanne was about to lie down beside Park Jimin, he suddenly pulled her on top of him. With her body on top of his, their faces were really close and they could even feel each other's breath.

"What a shameless woman," he noted, the smile on his face only deepened.
