Roseanne looked at Kang Daniel who yelled out her name. "Yes, Young Master Kang?"

"Call me Master Kang!" he reprimanded.

"My apologies... I have never heard of your father's passing... so..." Roseanne immediately clasped her hands and looked up at the ceiling. To everyone's surprise she closed her eyes and said, "May your soul rest in peace... Master Kang."

"Are you cursing my husband?" Jihyo fumed. Daniel had just asked her to call him Master Kang, so how could she say something like this?

"Huh? I was offering my respects to Master Kang Daniel's father... Is the Old Master of the Kang family your husband too?"

"Jihyo... calm down. Don't lower yourself to her level." Daniel immediately held his wife's hands. He had no idea what Rosella had went through but he knew that she was nothing but bad news now. The old Rosella was meek and and he very much preferred that version of her. Daniel felt that the person in front of him now was just hateful.

"You have changed," he thought out loud. "Many of us here would prefer the old Rosella Lilian."

"Of course many will. She was easier to kill," Roseanne rebutted nonchalantly, making everyone speechless once again. "If we are not going to talk about money, then I will be going," She remarked, smirking at Jihyo. She knew that Jihyo loved the Villa because of her precious 'memories' with Daniel there. If Jihyo had the power, she would not allow Roseanne to leave this place without first obtaining her signature to transfer the property under her name.

"That property was supposed to be mine! I'm sure Grandmother was muddled when she wrote her Will!" Jihyo said while glaring daggers at Roseanne.

"Rosella... Jihyo is currently pregnant right now. It is not good to agitate her. I understand that you are angry because she married into the Kang family instead of you. However, please be sensible and just give the Villa to your sister. You know how important this place is to her," Tang Ling said, in her usual gentle voice. "Please do not hate your sister. I should be the one that you should hate, not her." Tang Ling then wiped her nonexistent tears.

"Alright..." Roseanne nodded. "You have a point."

Tang Ling instantly laughed inwardly when she heard Roseanne's words.

"As her mother, I know you would want to help. So... Mother Ling, Are you going to pay in cash? Or check?"

Everyone stared at Roseanne in disbelief. 'Why is this woman always talking about money? No matter how they say it, Rosella Lilian always seem to have a way to end the conversation with money!'

This would not have been an issue if the Li family was as wealthy as it was before. The dwindling value of their company's stocks and loses they experienced over the years had depleted their wealth and the company was also on the verge of bankruptcy.

To save the company, they could either make a case to Park Capital, to ask them for investments or they could make some quick money through the sale of the properties they stand to inherit to bail their company out of a financial slump.

"Rosella Lilian! I will overlook the fact that my father included you in his Will as long as you give the Villa to your sister! I could go to the court and easily take back everything. But I would rather settle this out of court, so just listen to me and relinquish your claim to the Villa and all the other properties that you stand to inherit from Mother. Don't worry about the shares as I am not interested in those," Li Jung Wang added. As the Patriarch of the family, he had the ability to swallow his anger and maintain his composure. Especially at times like this.

Years ago, Li Jung Wang originally had hopes for Rosella. Though he did not treat her as well as his other two children, he also did not mistreat her but had provided her with money, food and clothing. In his opinion, she wasn't lacking. Who would have thought that she would repay his kindness by embarrassing their family seven years ago?

Because images of Roseanne being intimate with an unknown man were circulating in the news then, he had become a laughing stock in his circle of friends. In fact, not just Li Jung Wang but the entire Li family had become a laughing stock in South Korea. As the Li family didn't want to lose the connection with the Kang family, they lowered themselves and pleaded with Kang Daniel's parents to accept Jihyo into their family then.

"First and foremost, I am not a member of the Li family." Roseanne shrugged. "You made this clear seven years ago." Seven years ago, before she lost her mother, Li Jung Wang, together with Tang Ling made sure to kick her while she was down and disowned her. The only reason why Roseanne's name had not been removed from the family registry was because of Old Madam Ye's intervention and disapproval. "I could hand over Grandmother's properties to your son and daughter but I would need some monetary compensation for that. After all, money talks."

"Shameless!" Jihyo sneered. "Do you think I could not afford those properties? For a beggar like you, any amount of money should be enough! I would give you a million USD. Take it or leave it." Jihyo was an A-list star and the future Madam of the Kang family, money was not really an issue for her. She also had her own savings from filming. However, she was trying to build up her savings and prove herself to the current Madam of Kang family, Kang Daniel's mother, who hated her.

Jihyo was a prideful person. She was born with a silver spoon and was used to living extravagantly. She used to shop and spend her money in very lavish ways. However, because Daniel's mother preferred a daughter-in-law who spent her money smartly, Jihyo forced herself to tone down her spending in an effort to impress her mother-in-law.

"No deal." Roseanne shook her head, making Jihyo feel more irritated. It could be the pregnancy hormones or just her original hate towards Rosella, but Jihyo felt that she could have another outburst anytime. "I might be a beggar but I know the value of this property. If you want all properties, then I could give you a discount. I will sell it for one."

"One what exactly?"

"One billion US dollars... I prefer cash of course!" Roseanne beamed, almost making everyone erupt in rage.
