Surprise?

"Mr. Park... Mr. Park..." Sakura's sobs irritated Roseanne. She furrowed her brows and looked at the woman who was reaching towards Park Jimin and was about to touch him.

"Don't contaminate him!" she managed to say in Japanese, surprising everyone including Secretary Han and Sakura. Roseanne then turned her head towards Secretary Han. "Have your men lift him and transport him to a hospital as soon as possible." Roseanne's tone was cold and chilly, instantly making Secretary Han swallow all the words he wanted to say. Even Sakura's sobs ceased as she stared at Roseanne awkwardly.

Seeing Roseanne's sharp gaze, Secretary Han woke up from his stupor and immediately ordered his men to lift Park Jimin and carry him back to the resort where they have an in-house medical team. Moreover, given Park Jimin's current state, he was not fit to travel to a hospital which was an hour journey away. He needed medical help as soon as possible.

While all this was happening, Secretary Han made sure to give Roseanne a coat and some food and water before everyone started to trek out of the valley. To Roseanne's surprise, they were actually located less than a mile away from the resort. But because of the rain and the big pile of stones and soil from the landslide, Secretary Han and the others had found it hard to locate them.

Because of the landslide, Secretary Han and the others went on foot to search for them, thinking that the roads would be blocked. This made Roseanne a little angry, as she foresee that transporting Park Jimin back on foot might be challenging, given his injuries. But Secretary Han was quick to assure her that Park Jimin would be fine.

In less than an hour, the group arrived at the resort and they were immediately treated by a team of medical personnel.

"I am fine." Roseanne flinched as a female nurse tended to her wounds that she somehow did not even noticed before.

"Miss Roseanne, this wound on your elbow might scar if it is not treated properly," the nurse said before she handed Roseanne some medicine. "The doctor said you need to eat this medicine and that you need to rest."

"I am going to see Park Jimin." She rose from her seat. However, the nurse was quick to stop her. She held onto Roseanne's shoulders and looked at her imposingly.

"Miss Roseanne, I really cannot allow you to leave right now. You have wounds on your body and you need to rest. The doctor said that you are not fit to take care of Mr. Park in this state."

Roseanne narrowed her eyes at the nurse. "I only have some small cuts on my elbows and bruises on my legs. I did not even shed a single drop of blood. I am not feeling dizzy and my mind is perfectly sound. Moreover, I have not seen any doctor around since I got here. Do you see me as a fool?"

Seeing as Roseanne was not intimidated by her, the nurse stealthily took out a syringe from her pocket. "The doctor had given me permission to sedate you if you refuse to stay. Miss Roseanne, I hope you won't hold this to heart but this is only for your own good."

Roseanne's eyes immediately widened when she saw the nurse approaching her with an open syringe. Without further thoughts, she pushed the nurse away from her before grabbing a lamp near her. "Come if you dare. I won't hesitate to hurt you!"

"Miss Roseanne... please calm down," the nurse raised her hand. "We are only doing this for your own good."

"Own good my ass!" Roseanne cursed before she looked at the nurse coldly. "Who sent you?"

However, before the nurse could answer, Secretary Han opened the door with two of his men. "What is happening here?" Seeing Roseanne in a defensive stance, Secretary Han instantly narrowed his eyes at the nurse who immediately paled when she saw Secretary Han enter.

"Mr. Han, Miss Roseanne refused to take her medicine. The doctor told me that she might be a little delusional because of the accident. She actually attacked me for no reason just a while ago." The nurse quickly spun a tale, hoping that Secretary Han would believe her. The nurse had not expected Secretary Han to check on Roseanne. Miss Sakura had assured her that no one would be coming and all she needed to do was to sedate Roseanne to make her sleep.

Who would have thought that Secretary Han would arrive at this crucial time? Did Miss Sakura fail to stop Secretary Han?

Secretary Han immediately turned his attention towards Roseanne who was staring coldly at the nurse. "Miss Lilian? Are you alright?"

"Han Jisung, give me your phone," Roseanne said. Her words surprised Secretary Han as only Park Jimin knew his true name in the corporate world. 'Does this mean that President Park is already sharing secrets with Miss Lilian? This could only mean that they already passed the first stage!'

Secretary Han's eyes seemed to sparkle from happiness as he retrieved his phone from his pocket and passed it to Roseanne. Secretary Han decided that he needed to curry favor with Roseanne starting from now if she was going to be his lady boss soon. With that in mind, Secretary Han turn his gaze to the nurse who was obviously looked nervous. "What did you say was the medicine that you wanted to give to Miss Lilian?" he questioned, eyeing the open syringe in the nurse's hand.

"I... this.... This was part of the doctor's prescription," the nurse instantly trembled under Secretary Han's intense gaze. "This will help speed up the healing of Miss Roseanne's wounds," she lied.

"I am not wounded. That woman is lying," Roseanne said calmly as she dialed the phone.

"Mr. Han, Miss Roseanne is delusional because of the shock that she received from the accident. Please have your men restrain her so that I can administer the medication." The nurse mustered all the courage that had to convince Secretary Han that she was just being professional. If these people find out that she had wanted to sedate Miss Roseanne, then... her medical career is over and she might even be...dead.

"Lia? I'm safe. Send a medical team to Japan as quickly as possible. I will send you the address. Yes... I am fine. I also want you to investigate the background of all the medical personnel working in a resort called 'The Countryside' in Fussa City, Japan. I want to know everything about them and I want to know the results as soon as possible." Roseanne's voice echoed inside the room, making the nurse even more nervous.

"You- How dare you invade our privacy?" the nurse said, anxiety was written all over her face.

"Surprise?" Roseanne raised an eyebrow. "Well guess what darling, this is what happens when you offend someone like me."
