"Hey... are you there? Rose?" Park Jimin furrowed his brows when it was silent on the other end of the line.

"I'm sorry... what did you say? I uh... got distracted," she said.

"I said, if you find that don't like the current design of the penthouse, we can always make some renovations. Feel free to tell me any changes you want to make or anything you want me to get for the house," he said.

"Oh... Alright, I will remember that," Roseanne nodded.

"Okay, I have a meeting in five minutes. I will see you soon...Don't forget your dinner," he reminded.

"I haven't even finished the snacks that you sent and you are already talking about dinner. Do you want me to get fat?" The mirth in Roseanne's voice was so apparent that it made Park Jimin smile even wider.

"Don't worry about that my love, eat all you want and get fat and I will still love you. My love for you has no weight limits." He laughed at his own cold joke.

"I am not worried!" she was quick to answer. "I have another meeting too. Bye."

Park Jimin was all smiles even when Roseanne suddenly hung up on him. His wife was being all cute again. Park Jimin was glad that his wife had agreed to let him protect her, even though he could only do this in the shadows. He was satisfied knowing that he was taking baby steps into Roseanne's heart and he knew that one day he would succeed.

As Park Jimin revelled in the memory of the conversation that had just passed, he was totally unaware that he was looking like a lovestruck teenager. Secretary Han who was also in the office had witnessed how Park Jimin was smiling one moment and then giggling at the next. Secretary Han felt goosebumps all over his body. His boss seemed to have undergone some drastic personality changes ever since he got married. 'Do all men become like this after marriage?' he wondered. If so... then it was indeed very scary ah.

"Are our men following those two?" Secretary Han heard Park Jimin ask.

"Yes, our men are closely monitoring them," Secretary Han answered.

"Good. Have another group of men to keep watch over Roseanne and keep her safe. I'm sure those two are plotting something bad. Monitor them 24/7 and take note of who they meet over the next few days and compile a list. There should be no mistakes." Park Jimin narrowed his eyes before he got up and fixed his suit. Then he walked out of his office with a cold expression in his face. Some people were really courting death. It seemed that what he did last night was not enough to make Kang Daniel busy.

...

When nightfall came and Roseanne had no more matters to attend to at A.R Mall and Boutique, Bambam drove Roseanne back to Lotte. The entire journey did not even take twenty minutes because Lotte was in a central location. It was located near the main business and shopping district of Seoul. Soon, they arrived at the tallest building in South Korea.

Bambam led Roseanne to the VIP elevator and with a tap of a keycard, the lift started moving upwards towards the highest floor of Lotte. When they arrived at the top most floor, Bambam passed Roseanne another keycard to access the penthouse. He left the moment he saw Roseanne entering the penthouse safely.

The moment Roseanne stepped into the penthouse, she let out a gasp. She was in awe of the wide expanse of space before her. It was a two-storey penthouse with high ceilings and solid oak flooring. Instead of the usual plain floor to ceiling windows, the penthouse had a frameless glass box window that came with a sitting space, allowing anyone to lounge there and soak in the cinematic view of the cityscape.

Roseanne stood at the entrance and roamed her eyes around the house and noticed that the entire place was decked in white. From the walls to the furniture, they were mostly white. Could this be the reason why Park Jimin brought up the topic of a renovation? Roseanne let out a small chuckle. Did the man love white so much?

To her right, there was a billiard table and a wall mounted wine rack that was filled with different types of wines. She couldn't help but wonder if Park Jimin ever played at the billiard table.

Then Roseanne's eyes caught sight of a majestic white piano that was next to the fireplace to her left. 'Does Min know how to play the piano?' If her memory served her right, Min did not know how to play any musical instrument when they were children. Roseanne concluded that he must have picked up the piano when he was abroad.

After Roseanne had finished exploring the first level, she decided to head upstairs to look around. She was a little curious as to how the master bedroom looked like. However, before she could reach the stairs, her phone vibrated. Seeing that it was an unknown number, Roseanne was cautious. She accepted the call but remained silent.

"Rosella?" Roseanne heard a meek voice on the other line.

"Speaking," she answered.

"This is Tang Ling... How are you?"

"Why are you calling me?" she asked coldly.

"We heard from Lawyer Yan that... you already got married?" Tang Ling's voice trembled a little, like a nervous child talking to her father. Roseanne rolled her eyes at her antics. Tang Ling was born to be an actress ah.

"I did," Roseanne said.

"I... I mean... we are still your parents yet you did not even inform your father that you have gotten married. We had to hear about it through someone else..." she stuttered before letting out some sobs. "I know that we are not on speaking terms because you hated me for what happened in the past but your father...your father was really worried about you. We don't even know who your husband is, so your father is even more worried."

Tang Ling continued when Roseanne remained silent, "So... I am calling you to invite you and your husband to have dinner with us so that we can all be acquainted with each other. Only then will your father's heart be at peace."
