Park Jimin and Roseanne had decided to return to South Korea as soon as possible after the matter with Sakura was taken care off. After taking a well-deserved break from work, it was time for them to return as work that was piling was most likely piling up for the both of them.
"After Secretary Han takes care of the paperwork... we will be officially married," Park Jimin said as he typed on his laptop. At the present, they were travelling in Park Jimin's car to Roseanne's apartment.
"Are you sure that a photo like that would suffice for our marriage certificate?" Roseanne asked, while she scrutinized a photo that they had randomly taken together during their trip.
In her knowledge, a couple applying for a marriage certificate would need to be present at the marriage registration office. Moreover, they would also need to take a photo together at the premise for their marriage certificate. However, Park Jimin insisted that Secretary Han could process their marriage application without their presence and personal involvement.
"Hmmm... I know someone in the office who will ensure that everything goes well. Don't worry about it," he answered, his eyes still glued to his laptop. "I missed a lot of work when I was out so I will have to trouble you to wait for me tonight."
"I also have a lot of meetings today," she answered. "I might stay up late too. Also... when am I moving into your place?"
"You want to live in Lotte?" he turned to look at Roseanne in surprise.
"Of course! One of the perks of being your wife is to live in Lotte!" she said. She always wondered what would the view be like living on the highest floor of the tallest building in South Korea anyway.
"Profiteer." Park Jimin muttered, chuckling at her blunt words. "Let's do it tomorrow. I will get someone to help you move your things. For your convenience, I will also prepare a unit in Lotte for your secretary and your people to move into."
"Good enough." She nodded, satisfied with his arrangement. Roseanne then side-eyed Park Jimin who was still busy on his laptop and her mind began to wander. 'She would officially be Mrs. Park soon. Does this mean that they would need to consummate their marriage?' She swallowed her saliva and secretly chastised herself. 'What was she thinking in the middle of the day?! Is Park Jimin's shamelessness influencing her?'
Roseanne decided to shut her eyes to avoid looking at her soon-to-be husband, afraid she might not be able to control her wandering thoughts. After a few minutes, they finally arrived at Roseanne's apartment. Park Jimin helped her with her luggage and made her some food before he left for work. By the time he got to his office, it was already afternoon.
Park Jimin and Roseanne had a mutual understanding towards each other when it came to their work. They understood the difficulties and pressure that came with managing a company with thousands of employees.
After Park Jimin left, Roseanne also started working on the documents that Lia had printed for her over the weekend.
"President Lilian... I just received a call from Yeji from Europe. I think we may have a little problem with the Arisons." Lia's voice interrupted Roseanne.
"What is it?" she asked as she massaged her temples. Roseanne was exhausted, having just returned from the trip. But work still had to be done or else they would continue to pile up.
"Mrs. Arison just exposed to the media that you were the one who cancelled the engagement. She even shed some tears on the cooking show she participated in, as if she had some unspoken grievances." Lia stated.
"Lia..." Roseanne rolled her eyes at her secretary before she continued with her work. "This is not a problem. I don't care about rumors like this. Besides I am already married so..."
"What did you say?" Roseanne's words were interrupted by Lisa, who just arrived with big black shades on her face. "Someone had the guts to marry you?" Lisa let out a laugh before she walked towards Roseanne. Then she narrowed her eyes at her. "You-"
"You are serious?" Lisa asked before letting out a squeal. It was so loud and sharp that Roseanne and Lia had to cover their ears. "Is it Escort Park? Is it him? Is it him?"
"Escort Park?" Roseanne deadpanned. "Since when did you start calling him that way?"
"Hahaha... I am right! It's Escort Park! Let me call J Hope. We need to celebrate!" Lisa ignored Roseanne, taking off her sunglasses and whipping out her phone to call J Hope to share the big news with him.
Her friend who was adamant to stay single forever just got married! Isn't this akin to a miracle? J Hope was equally excited and couldn't wait for them to meet up to celebrate. All that was left was to set a meeting time and date.
"I want the juicy details!" Lisa asked excitedly as she sat next to Roseanne after ending the call with J Hope. Left without a choice, Roseanne asked Lia to leave before she recounted everything that happened on the resort to her friend.
"What a bitch. So? What did he do? Did he kill her? He should have! What if she succeeded in killing you?" Lisa asked.
"I don't know." Roseanne shrugged. "He had been friends with Riku for a long time and killing her would affect this friendship. I did not ask him what he did to that woman."
"Hmmm... that is reasonable." Lisa nodded. "Anyway since he will be late tonight. Why don't we go out to celebrate the last night of you being single?"
"I am technically married already. I signed the papers." Roseanne said.
"But the marriage registration office still hasn't finished processing the papers yet. So you are still single! Come on your highness, grace us with your presence on this last night before you become Escort Park's wife." Lisa then let out a giggle. Happiness radiating all over her. Roseanne finally found a man who is willing to die just to save her.
Isn't this just the best news ever?
