Roseanne's speech was the climax of the event. Everyone applauded as they looked at her in a new light. Roseanne Park was a woman with a terrible past and yet here she was, smiling and mingling with everyone as if her indecent photos hadn't been exposed just minutes ago.

"Look at you, so confidently talking to everyone with a beautiful smile plastered on your face." Roseanne immediately turned her head towards the source of the voice. When she discovered that it was just Li Yeonjun, she turned her attention back to the awards that were displayed near the stage. After talking to so many people Roseanne decided that she needed some space so she chose to stand away from the crowd to look at the awards that she and the company had received over the years.

"I heard father declared you the new CEO of Li Industries?" she asked.

"He made the right decision," Yeonjun said confidently. "After all, I am the heir of the Li Industries."

"You are right. I hope he won't regret it though," Roseanne said without turning her head towards him. "Li Industries have been doing rather well lately. It's making my hand itch."

"What do you mean by that?"

"Ask your scheming mother," Roseanne answered. This time, she shifted her head from the awards to Yeonjun. "Everything that happened and will happen to you and your family is her fault."

"Stop making my son go against me." Tang Ling's arrival completely surprised her son. After Roseanne's speech, Li Jung Wang almost dragged Tang Ling out of the venue, leaving Yeonjun alone. Why is she here now?

"Ah...look, Mother Ling is here," Roseanne said, the sarcasm in her voice so obvious it immediately riled up Tang Ling. "Are you excited to see what I have in store for you?" she asked Tang Ling bluntly.

"Roseanne ... you were the one who chose to leave the Li Family and use somebody else's surname. I don't understand where this vengeful tone is coming from," Tang Ling said righteously.

"You know what I don't understand?" Roseanne asked as she gestured for a hovering waiter to give her a flute of champagne. "I don't understand why are you trying to sabotage yourself over and over again. I mean if you want to die, why don't you just kill yourself without dragging your family with you? Is it really so hard for you to understand that those images mean nothing to me?"

"What are you talking about?"

"Tang Ling," Roseanne held the glass of champagne in her hands, her eyes shifting from Yeonjun to Tang Ling. "Tonight... you will see what kind of person you have provoked."

"I... I did not provoke you," Tang Ling immediately defended herself as she clutched her son's arm. Her eyes immediately showed fear, prompting her own son to hold her, as if protecting her from Roseanne.

Seeing the duo in front of her immediately made Roseanne scoff. She shook her head and turned her attention back to the awards. Roseanne already had her plans for the Li Family. Talking to these two people was such a waste of her brain cells.

"Roseanne... We are not done talking," Tang Ling said as she raised her hands to hold Roseanne. After holding Roseanne's arms, Tang Ling made it seem as if Roseanne shook her hands off her arms,making Tang Ling fall in the process. She then let out a squeal of surprise, attracting everyone's attention and making her husband stop walking towards them.

"Now... This is how scheming your mother is." Roseanne looked at Yeonjun who glared at her before helping his mother up.

"You were the one who caused her to fall and yet you call her scheming. As expected, no amount of wealth would be able to hide your true nature," Yeonjun stated sanctimoniously before he turned his attention to Tang Ling who was now sobbing in his arms.

At this point, the current scene attracted the attention of a lot of socialites as many of them previously made the connection between Roseanne and the Li Family of Seoul. Some of these people still remembered what happened back then so they naturally knew that Roseanne and the Li Family do not have a good relationship with each other.

Naturally, everyone was already anticipating a good show.

Seeing everyone looking at them, Roseanne held her head high as she looked at Yeonjun. "You are just like your father. A single tear would make you men so weak that you can't even think properly." She then made a hand gesture towards the DJ of the program.

"I wanted this event to be special and yet you really couldn't control the urge and offended me at my own party," Roseanne said as she sent a signal to the DJ. "Now, how about I show you why I am feared in the West?"

Tang Ling's voice threatening Roseanne at her office instantly echoed in the whole venue. This immediately made Tang Ling's face turn pale, as her gaze met Li Jung Wang. How could Roseanne have recordings of those conversations? Then she remembered how Roseanne used all methods to make her mad. Was that because she was recording everything?

Tang Ling looked at everyone who was staring at her with a mixture of disbelief, disgust and shock. She had always been known as someone kind and gentle. So hearing her shrill voice threatening Roseanne was an absolute surprise to everyone.

"That is not me," she managed to utter, "I would never do that! That is not me!"

"What are you shouting about? I never said it was you." Roseanne smirked while watching the disbelief in Yeonjun's eyes.

"You! You are framing me! How could you do this to me? I did not raise you to become like this! I understand that you have forgotten about the Li Family after you discovered your roots. But... this... Rosella, what did I ever do to you?" Tang Ling shook her son's arm as she stood in front of Roseanne. Though this was completely unexpected to her, she would never let this woman win. Not tonight! Since Roseanne wanted a show, she would gladly give this to her. "What are you laughing about? Have you gone crazy?"

"You are too funny, Mother. You indeed did not raise me like this." Roseanne chuckled, amusement apparent in her eyes. "You have raised me well – too well."

"Ah... I never knew that you knew how to joke! It made me forget to tell you that there was a CCTV camera in my office the day that you visited." And right after Roseanne said that, the lights of the whole venue dimmed and flashes of images of Tang Ling threatening Roseanne were displayed on the stage. It was followed by the audio that Roseanne recorded.

Then the video stopped. The lights once again illuminated the place, revealing a pale Tang Ling that was shaking with anger. Tang Ling's fist was clenched, her eyes venomous as she stared at Roseanne.
