I am not a saint

Sakura's eyes flickered with rage. She was about to rebut Roseanne when her brother held her arm. "Let's go Sakura, Miss Roseanne is right. She is Mr. Park's fiancée. It is only right that she's the one who takes care of him."

Sakura sent a glare towards her brother before she shook off his hand. She always knew that her brother would not support her. But this... at times like this, Riku should at least help her convince Roseanne. Of course, she still managed to compose herself before she eyed Doctor Ikeda, hoping to get the man's help. The doctor took the hint and immediately backed her up.

"Miss Roseanne, I know that you are Mr. Park's fiancée but you are still under observation and unfit to be a caregiver at the moment..."

"You are no longer needed here. Leave now or I will have my fiancée's men drag you out of this resort," Roseanne firmly said. "I will call you once he is awake. You can tell him all about my contagious bruises by then."

The doctor turned speechless at Roseanne's words. Contagious bruises? When had he say something like that?

"Han Jisung, drag these people out," Roseanne added before taking a seat on the couch next to Park Jimin's bed.

Seeing as Roseanne was not budging, Sakura had no other choice but to leave. She clenched her jaw in anger and strutted out of the room. What else could she say? Roseanne insulted her and called her a 'stranger' in Park Jimin's life. Moreover, she kept on rubbing it in Sakura's face that Park Jimin had like her for more than a decade.

She determined in her heart to teach Roseanne a lesson: knowing Park Jimin longer didn't mean that she owned him.

"Sakura!" Riku chase after his sister. "Whatever you are thinking, please stop it."

"Why do you care?" Sakura hissed. "You didn't even help me in there! Why would you care now?"

"I received a message that they have already detained the nurse. Please don't dig your grave even deeper. Roseanne is not dumb. She must have already known that someone is intentionally keeping her away from Park Jimin."

"So what?" Sakura asked, turning her head from left to right to make sure that no one was following them. "So what if she knows that I am trying to stop her from taking care of Park Jimin? What can she do about it?"

"Sakura! How did you become like this?" Riku asked. "Where did all your education go? Why are you acting like a desperate woman?"

"You know why!" she answered. "I told you that I liked him ever since the first time I saw him but you never ever introduced me to him! Just what kind of brother are you? You even sent me away so that I would be far away from him!" Sakura's words contained all the resentment that she felt towards her brother. For Sakura, it was love at first sight but her good brother always discouraged her from pursuing Park Jimin and even sent her abroad.

"Is that how you see me? A bad brother?" Riku asked his face full of sadness. "I was trying to save you from having a heartache! I can't just watch you fall for someone whose heart has already been given to someone else! I was trying to protect you Sakura!"

"I don't need your protection! I am a grown woman! I want what I want and you can't do anything to change my mind," Sakura said angrily, stomping away. She needed a new plan, and fast!!

....

"I want you to investigate the Ito siblings," Roseanne said the moment Sakura, Riku and the doctor left.

"Miss Lilian, you mean?"

"Sakura didn't want me here and the nurse wanted to sedate me to prevent me from leaving my room," Roseanne recounted. "I am not a saint Secretary Han, I am a very possessive person. I won't tolerate anyone who is trying to steal what is already mine."

"I... Miss Lilian..." Secretary Han instantly beamed as realization hit him. "Congratulations! Congratulations! I will follow your orders as soon as possible!"

Secretary Han left immediately after talking to Roseanne. He really wanted to celebrate right now ah. But the boss is still unconscious, he really cannot wait to tell all these to President Park. He was sure he would be really happy to hear Roseanne say something like this!

Roseanne didn't miss the excitement that was all over Secretary Han's face as he left but her attention was all on Park Jimin now. Though the latter was still looking pale, at least his breathing was consistent. He should wake up soon. Moreover, Park Jimin was a very healthy man. A little blood loss shouldn't really put him in any life threatening danger.

Of course, just to make sure that everything would be fine, Roseanne had used her connections to invite a group of reputable doctors to check on Park Jimin. These doctors were from a hospital that the Anne Group had been donating generously to.

Roseanne stared at the clock sitting on Park Jimin bedside table. It was already five in the morning. No wonder she felt so exhausted. For some reason, her mind was still rather active despite the fatigue.

Was she excited for him to wake up? Or was she excited to marry him. Maybe it was a little of both, Roseanne thought before a small smile escaped her lips. Then she slowly slouched on the couch and finally drifted off to sleep.
