I must've looked utterly surprised, just like the rest of the crowd. Right in front of me, on the middle of the stage, Martin and Ellis are kissing.

And not just locking lips, it's a full on passionate kiss. The both of them very into it.

After the initiate shock, the crowd comes alive again. Cheering the two on. Once they part, the cheering gets even louder. Ellis' bright red with a bright smile on her face.

I thank the crowd, before all of us disappear from the stage and into the hallway with dressing rooms.

"What the heck just happened?" I pull Ellis into my dressing room, so the two of us are alone.

"I have no freaking clue." Her face turning even more red, although I didn't think that it was possible. We both just start laughing, before changing out of our concert clothes and into something else so we can all go for drinks.

The whole stage team - me, my dancers and Martin - are still full with adrenaline as we arrive at the club. Martin had rented the whole thing so we could celebrate. It wasn't until I was in the club, someone informed me that for the first time in very long there had been an all British podium at the British GP. It was the last push I needed to let go fully. It has been a weekend full of commitments, alongside many emotions, it's time to relax now.

Somewhere along the night, I find myself dancing with Evi and Ellis as I've done so many times during this tour. The three of us switching between dancing and doing shots. It was pretty obvious to Evi and I that Martin was trying to make a move on Ellis, but she seemed clueless. After the huge amount of shots we had, she seemed to be even more oblivious. Until Evi decided that Martin had haunted us enough, and literally shoved Ellis into his chest.

The two of them just look at each other in complete awe, not certain what had just happened. Evi and I take a few steps back, hoping to trick them that they are somewhat alone. We watch as Martin puts his hands on her waist, before locking their lips. Evi and I drunkenly high-fiving, before going to find some other people to dance with.

After Vienna, our next destination is Bern in Switzerland. A city I have not been to yet, and all everyone always seems to say is that Switzerland is expensive. So I don't really know that much about it. I do know that we're getting closer to the end of this tour rapidly. There's only seven more cities on the list, including Bern. We've passed the halfway point by quite some concerts already, and I'm starting to feel anxious to not know what is next.

Last tour, we had been planning this one already. But right now, there's no talks at all. Much par my request, I must admit. I am starting to feel more anxious with all the media attention and being in the spotlight all the time. I strongly feel like it could be good for me to take some time to spend on myself.

I look out over the streets of Monaco from my apartment building. It feels empty, without being with Lando almost all the time. I pick up my phone, very much aware that he could be somewhere around this city.

Should I call him? That might be pushing our friendship too much. I open WhatsApp, typing twenty different messages before sending one.

'Hi, how are you?'

-Aimee

I know, stupid question. But I need to open with something, and I can't just go asking him if he wants to hang out.

'Hi, I'm good hope you're doing good too! Just landed in Nice.'

-Lando

I can feel my body relax as his message comes in, so he'll be in Monaco within an hour.

'Do you wanna hang out tonight?'

-Aimee

Let's not waste time, shall we. I keep looking at the screen of my phone, as the dots appear to signal he's typing. The dots disappear before a message pops up.

'Max, Ria and Niran are here too. We could do a games night. Come to my place at 8?'

-Lando

I am happy to see that he isn't shooting the idea down immediately, but I can't help to realise that I am feeling a little sad that it's not just the two of us.

'I'll be there!'
-Aimee

I put my phone away, realising it's only four, and I still got a lot of time to kill until Lando expects me. I decide to change into some workout clothes and go for a run, to get the bit of adrenaline in my body out. My body and mind already going into overdrive just thinking about seeing Lando tonight.

The run helped clear my mind and body from the excitement that had already started to build up. Leaving my muscles slightly tense, when I arrive back at my apartment building. Making a straight line for my shower, turning it as hot as I can handle. My muscles immediately relaxing with the touch of the hot water on my body.

Once I get out of the shower, my phone starts ringing. An unfamiliar number on the screen, but the fact that they haven't shielded it, must mean they do want to talk to me.

"Hi?" I say into the phone, my robe tightly wrapped around me.

"Hey Aimee! It's Guanyu Zhou. I hope you don't mind, but I got your number from Lando." Of course he gave it to him.

"Hi Guanyu. It's okay, why are you calling?"

"Well, we found out you're performing in Bern on Friday. And we'd love to come. We being Valtteri, Mick and I." I'm guessing he's referring to Valtteri Bottas and Mick Schumacher, but I don't feel the need to verify. I'm already delighted that I did seem to have made friends in the paddock those few races I was there.

"You guys are fans huh?" I tease. "But that should be okay, I'll text you my managers number, you can arrange the rest with her."

"Thank you Aimee! See you Friday."

I put my phone down, a bit thrown by what had just happened. I didn't really speak to many people on the paddock. Of course I'd run into Max, Charles and Lando as our group of friends had some overlap. But that's about it.

However I do feel supported by the people there. Especially when things like this happen. I pick up my phone again, texting both Guanyu and Ava with the necessary information.

Standing in front of my closet, I suddenly feel a bit anxious about my choice of clothing. I know it'll probably be a fun night in, and I should put too much attention to my outfit. But the fact that Lando is there, makes me want to dress to impress.

I settle on a simple outfit, but one I feel confident in too. Opting to go for the classic dark washed skinny jeans and white blouse. Pairing them with my white sneakers just to keep myself comfortable too.

After I've gotten dressed, I put my suitcase on top of my bed. The thing needs to be filled for my train to Bern tomorrow. And since I've got some time to kill, this seems like the perfect option. I've gotten so used to packing it, that I don't even check my to pack list anymore. Shoving different outfits for the weekend into the trolley.

I close the suitcase just as my phone signals it's time to go to Lando's. I grab my necessities, and head out the door. My body buzzing with excitement. And if I'm honest, it's not only because of Lando. I haven't seen the Quadrant squad in a while, and with some of them here, I am actually excited to go and chat with them a bit again.

Arriving at Lando's place, I notice a very familiar looking Ferrari car parked outside. So it's not just Lando, Ria, Niran and Max. I knock on the door, which is soon being opened by the two Max's I know.

"Aimee you're here!" They both cheer, the both of them sounding as if they've already had some drinks.

"I am here." I cheer awkwardly, trying to somewhat match their enthusiasm. My efforts are accepted as they both hug me, before letting me enter the very familiar home.

As I enter the living room, I let my eyes scan the room. There's definitely more people than I had expected, but I'm so ready for this.
