"I am so sorry I am late." I apologise to the interviewer from the Dutch News broadcaster. "I had to bring Lando to the circuit and it was much more busy than I anticipated."

"It's fine, you're only 15 minutes late. Things like that happen."

"I just don't like being late." I admit, sitting down on the chair in the set up they made. It was an easy interview, mainly directed to the children's news segment. A big part of it consisted of me answering send in questions of children.

"Will you be rooting for Max & Nyck or for Lando during the GP this weekend?" One of the kids asked and I find myself laughing at the question.

"Well I've made many friends on the grid during the last year, so I'm just hoping everyone exceeds their own expectations. As a Dutchie I'm definitely rooting for Max and Nyck. As a girlfriend I'm pouring my heart into hoping Lando will win."

"Any plans for an upcoming tour?" The interviewer asks as a final concluding question, we've been chatting for almost an hour at this point.

"Not really, I feel a bit burned out if I'm completely honest. I think it's time to spend some time on me and the people I love. A tour is very tiring and asks a lot from your mental health, so for now no plans for a new one."

We say our goodbyes after that. I follow Ava into the dressing room, where we make sure everything is ready for tonight. Once we've finished that all, I look at my phone. FP3 just finished, I smile seeing Lando having take P3 in this session.

"You go, we've got it covered." Ava says while she catches me staring at my screen.

"Thanks Ava." I tell her, giving her a tight hug. "I'll be back in time. And else it's my concert so they'll just have to wait." We both laugh at my comment before I grab my keys, my phone and small purse to make my way to the circuit once again.

As soon as I'm in the car I call Jon, knowing I'll need a pass to actually enter the paddock. And my VIP pass for tomorrow won't cut it today.

"Aimee, why are you calling?" Jons voice sounds through the speakers of my car.

"Hey Jon, I am on my way to the track now. I want to surprise Lando, can you get me into the paddock?"

"Yes. Yes I can. I take it Lando can't know?"

"You're right on that."

"I'll make sure there's someone with a pass waiting for you at the paddock entrance."

"Thanks Jon." I press end call, focussing on the road ahead with music blaring through my speakers.

It took a lot of convincing my doctors that I was allowed to drive, but they all agreed that it wouldn't affect my healing proces as long as I listened to my body. In other words, I was allowed to drive as long as I wasn't in too much pain.

The drive to Zandvoort goes a bit smoother than this morning, as most of the traffic has dissolved. I only had three other cars in front of me, wanting to access the main road to the track. The same police officer still working as this morning. "You're here again?" He asks, as I show him the permit.

"Yeah, surprising my boyfriend with supporting him in real life." I tell him and he wishes me luck before letting me continue.

I drive the final 10 minutes to the track, parking my car next to one that I can identify as Max Verstappens car. I grab my purse, spotting no one less than Zak Brown waiting at the entrance.

"They've send you?" I ask Zak, walking up to him.

"Jon didn't trust anyone else to keep this a secret." Zak says laughingly. "Happy to see you earlier than expected Aimee."
