"Are you guys ready to hear my surprise?"Meg asked as they sat under the tree away from the rest of the class. They were just dismissed for lunch, and Meg thought it would never come.

"What surprise?" Ruby asked, puzzled. Since they all rushed out of the house, none of them remembered to pack lunch.

"Wait, before I get into that, I have an important comment for Charlie. I'm impressed. You left the house without taking any lunch! For the first time, you were thinking about something other than food!"

"Oh Meg, just get on with the surprise," Charlie said as he rolled his eyes and Ruby giggled.

"Look what I have!"Meg pulled out an envelope from her pocket. Ruby's eyes widened and Charlie let go of Ruby's hand just long enough to grab the envelope.

"Where did you get this?" Charlie asked.

"A magician never reveals her tricks, "She said slyly.

"That's not important right now. Open it!" Ruby demanded. Charlie passed the envelope to her. Ruby, with shaky fingers, opened the envelope and pulled out the paper that contained the short message.

We are running out of time. We need to move quickly. I will meet you next Saturday, at Over Peck Park. Don't worry about recognizing me. I will see you first. I hope you are well, and I will see you soon.

P.S Bring your two friends. They will be a part of the plan.

"Wow," Meg said. "Who do you think it is?"

"Oh no," Ruby said. "This is becoming a tradition, isn't it?"

"Yeah," Meg giggled.

"You will find out soon enough. Don't worry about that now," Charlie said.

"Why do you make it sound like you know who it is?" Ruby asked suspiciously.

"Did I?" Charlie asked innocently. "I didn't notice."

"Charlie Baker, are you going to lie to me?" Ruby demanded an answer.

"Why would I lie?" Charlie asked, starting to feel hot all of a sudden.

"So you do know who it is!" Ruby said.

"Well, I didn't say that..." Charlie faltered.

"Who is it?" Ruby asked. "Tell me Charl."

"I... I can't," He admitted.

 "Why not?" Ruby asked.

"He told me not to tell," Charlie confessed.

"He won't know if you told me or not," Ruby insisted.

"I'm sorry. I can't," Charlie really seemed sorry.

"Guys, let's try to focus here," Meg interrupted. "The main thing is, we have the rest of this week to have fun! The devils are gone, and will come back after we meet this guy. By then, we should have the problem solved. Your days of suffering are over!"

"That was pretty dramatic," Ruby giggled. "But let's save the celebration for when it actually happens."

"Don't worry," Charlie assured her. "It will."
