Ariel's Mother: Honey, please!
Ariel: *sings* There's Got To Be A Morning After!
Ariel's Mother: I know exactly what to do! *gets out a cartoon mallet*
Ariel: Mom! You wouldn't whack me with that, would you? *looks worried*
Ariel's Mother: I wouldn't, but I will! *whacks Ariel with the cartoon mallet*
Ariel: *out cold with cartoon stars floating above her and her tongue sticking out*
Ariel's Mother: That silly daughter of mine.
