Lexie got a very bad report card. She did very poor in most of her classes. She got a D in Science, in Reading, and English, and an F in Math, World History, and Gym.
If her parents ever found out about this, she would get her phone taken away, until her grades improved. She had to hide her report card, so her parents would never find it. She hid it under her pillow on her bed.
When her parents asked about her report card, she lied about it being delayed till next week. Her parents believed her, and it was a weight off her shoulders.
Lexie was off the hook. At least for now.
