Rylee Meets Danny Phantom

Chapter 18

Sam's POV
Once we all got to the hot tub, we began to relaxed. We all noticed Danny holding Rylee in his lap. "How come she's on your lap, Danny?" I asked. "The water goes up to her neck. Plus she loves it when I hold her." Said Danny. "That makes sense especially since the water is almost 3ft deep." Said Dash. "It was made like this because of my height. I didn't realize that it'd be deep for Rylee." Said Danny. "That's ok, Danny. I don't mind it." I loved that Rylee was open minded. "I think Rylee just loves the fact that you offered to hold her. She looks so happy." I couldn't get over how cute Rylee was while nuzzling her head into Danny's chest. We all lost our train of thought when Danny's ghost sense went off. "Oh no. Get Rylee inside. I have a feeling this is gonna be a bad one." Tucker, Dash, and I got Rylee inside the house to keep her safe while Danny was about to fight Vlad.

Danny's POV
I should've known Vlad was going to come at anytime so I flew up to see what he wants. "What are you up to this time, Plasmius?" I asked ready to fight. "If you must know I'm about to unleash my biggest plan yet." Said Vlad. "What do you mean by that?" I asked and that is when the Fright Knight showed up. "What's this? You're going to scare little kids?" I asked sarcastically. "You underestimate me, Daniel, but no." Said Vlad. "By Saturday night you and you're friends are going to experience the scariest night of your lives." Said the Fright Knight as they both flew off dramatically. "This isn't good. I gotta warn the others."

Rylee's POV
I was hanging inside with Tucker, Sam, and Dash as they were all keeping me safe since I was worried about Danny. "It's ok, Rylee. You're safe in here with us." Said Tucker rubbing my back. "We won't let anything happen to you." Said Sam. Danny then returned with a worried look on his face. "You ok, Danny?" Asked Dash. "Remember that Vlad made a deal with the Fright Knight?" We all went wide eyed. "That day is about to come." That's when my heart started beating really fast in fear. "Saturday night is when they're going to unleash their most evil plan yet." Said Danny. "But Saturday is the concert. Does that mean we can't go anymore?" Asked Tucker. "Oh were going. We just gotta prepare ourselves for what were about to expect." I was still very scared of what's going to happen and was about to cry until Danny put his arm around me and kissed my forehead. "I won't let Fright Knight or Vlad get to you, Rylee. We'll all be right here to protect you." I wrapped my arms around Danny's waist. "And if you want I can invite my family over to help train you so you can fight along with us." I looked up. "What if I mess up?" I asked worried. "That's what were here for. We'll be with you every step of the way. I always had my friends help me and now we're here to help you. Plus I still need to introduce you to my family." I continued to hug Danny with a smile on my face.

Danny's POV
I saw the biggest smile on Rylee's face when I mentioned I wanted her to meet my family. "I'd love that, Danny." Said Rylee still hugging me. She then looked up at me with her hand on my tummy which put a smile on my face. "You have the cutest little hands. They're so tiny." I said gently placing my hand over hers. "It looks like your hand is eating her's." Said Dash which caused us to all laugh and I teased Rylee by pretending to eat her hand with my large hand causing her to giggle so much. "Let's go back to the hot tub and relax a bit more." Said Tucker as we all went back to the hot tub. I turned back to my human form before getting in and, as always, held Rylee in my lap.
