Ringing

That is all Amberlee hears along with the loud sound of her heart beating a million miles a minute and her slow breaths. Her eyes slowly begin to open, her head hanging low to the side, her groaning lightly from the harsh pain that she feels on her temple.

"Amberlee?"

"Amberlee can you hear me?"

"Look at me!"

The voices are faint, she can barely hear them over her breathing and her heartbeat. She slowly goes to bring her head up, her vision being clouded but she is able to see around the factory. She sees Ryder across from her by ten feet, him saying something to her that she cannot quite understand, her looking around the room.

That is when she notices that she cannot move her arms or her legs. She tries her arms first, them being tied right behind her back, them hurting from the angle. She grits her teeth, trying to pry her arms free but it only makes it hurt more. She next tries to move her legs, them being tied to the legs of the chair and she cannot move them at all.

That is when the memories start to flood in through her head, her eyes widening and her heart beginning to beat more faster and faster, her frantically beginning to look around the room.

"Am look at me! Look at me!"

Amberlee looks at Ryder with wide eyes. "Amir?" She questions while looking around. "Amir where's Amir? Where is he?!"

"I don't know.....I don't know." Ryder shakes his head, him gritting his teeth and closing his eyes, trying to pry himself free making him let out a frustrated loud scream. "Dammit why are you here I told you to go home!" He exclaims.

Amberlee doesn't even listen to the question, she frantically still tries to look around for Amir, her not seeing him anywhere in sight. "Amir!" She yells, her still looking around. "Amir! Amir!"

"He can't hear you."

Amberlee looks at the man make his way to her, putting his gun behind his back. She glares hard at him while he pulls up a chair in front of her, him going to sit down in front of her.

"Leave her alone." Ryder grits out.

"Oh shut up." The man rolls his eyes simply, going back to smile at Amberlee. "Colin is the name by the way."

"Yeah like I give a damn." She mentions sarcastically in response. "Where's my cousin?"

"Oh Harrington." Colin snaps his fingers. "Don't worry, he's being taken care of really well."

Amberlee feels her heart beat even more from the words. "Don't you hurt him! Don't hurt him!" She begins to cry while yelling at him.

"Oh don't worry your sweet little heart, I won't hurt him. Well it's not me hurting him." Colin shrugs simply. "I mean you both could have gotten away with sneaking around here but you both are insanely loud. I heard you both conversation. And to answer your question no Ryder is not in any debt, I'm just trying to figure out why risk your life to save his in the first place." Colin said before he turns his head to face Ryder, seeing him glare at Colin. "He is nothing but a backstabbing ungrateful kid anyways."

"No you are." Amberlee says back, him going to look at her. "That's why you have to change your license plate every two weeks to keep yourself hidden like the coward you are. That is why you are pressuring him to do something he doesn't want to do that is why he is in trouble! That is why every week you all go to that same run down old house off broadway street at the edge of town. What was the address? Five zero two Broadway lane?"
