Chapter 66: Steps to recovery

"Oh man! I've been taken by the mafia man and have been kidnapped! Hopefully I won't fall in love with him and we get married and have babies!" Vicki exclaims.

Robin slides next to her. "I'm kidnapping you because you saw to much but also because you one fine lady."

"Oh a kidnapper! My type." Vicki takes her hand.

"Pow pow I'm the bad guy to ruin this toxic romance!" Holly slides in.

"Oh no my fellow kidnapper save me even though you clearly kidnapped me and I should fear for my life." Vicki says.

"Don't worry my love I will save you." Robin says before pretending to shoot Holly, her dramatically falling and Erica catching her on reflex. "Don't worry baby we are safe together, forever! Now I will lock you away and keep you to myself! Muhahahahahahahaha!"

"Then I come into play and kill you all." Erica says.

"Hey that is not how it was suppose to play out." Vicki says.

"It is now." Erica responds.

Ryder just looks at them in confusion as they bicker on, everyone sitting and standing around the hospital room. "The fuck am I watchin Am?" He directs at Amberlee, her laying in the bed with him.

"It's suppose to be entertainment." Amberlee responds. "Top entertainment they said."

Ryder just looks at Amberlee before looking back at them. "Feels like I'm in hell." He responds, Amberlee laughing in response.

"We said the couple were going to live happily ever after." Robin says.

"Yeah in hell." Erica adds in.

"Alright I'm back with the—

"LETTUCE WRAPS!"

"If ANY of you come an inch to close to me you will receive my foot in your face." Max quickly says while putting her hand up.

All of them slowly take a step back at the same time with the exception of Erica. "I'll take my chances." Erica shrugs before she takes a one of the containers from Max's hand, opening it up and putting a lettuce wrap in her mouth, her smiling at Max when Max sends her a dumb expression.

"Here you guys go." Max says while giving Amberlee a container.

"Thanks mom." Amberlee replies, her opening up the top and taking out a lettuce wrap. Ryder takes out four, him putting one whole one in his mouth and chewing it while holding the other three. "They're still going to be there Ryder."

"Ion know when it comes to these." Ryder replies simply.

"Okay I'm here." Lucas replies, putting the rest of the containers on the table, everyone running over to them. "Jesus Christ you animals!" Lucas exclaims.

"I got it! Don't touch me!" Nancy yells.

"Discharge papers? Did you get them man?" Ryder directs at Lucas.

"They said it's going to take some time Parker." Lucas responds.

Ryder sighs out in frustration. For the past week he has been here and it has been nothing but sleep showers and eating and he is getting tired of it. He just wants to go back home that way he can walk around freely. He knows his wounds are still recovering but at least he won't be confined to a bed all of the time, he can at least go to the couch and play video games because he knows Amberlee is not going to let him go out on his own anyways.
