Chapter 87: Finders Keepers (Ladies style)

Since I'm SUCH a gentlemen! (Even though I'm a girl)....ladies first! ;).

All of them pull back into the driveway of the house, Amberlee getting off of the bike as well as Ryder. "See you later." She smiles.

"See you darlin." Ryder smiles back at her.

"Love you." She says before she kisses her.

"Love you too." He kisses her back.

Amberlee goes to make her way to Max's car, her getting in the passenger side while Max gets in the drivers side, her driving out of the driveway. "I'm so excited!"

"I already know you are going to love the dress." Max smiles while she still looks ahead of her at the road.

Amberlee squeals in response, Max just laughing in response. "Mom I'm so happy."

"I see it. You have a glow." Max looks over at her.

"Oh those are the new vitamins me and Ryder are taking for hair and skin." Amberlee responds while she pulls down her sun visor, looking at her smooth clear light bronze skin. "Wow yeah I am glowing."

"Glowing in good skin but also just glowing in happiness." Max smiles. "I had that same glow when I was about to marry your father."

Amberlee puts up her sun visor, her leaning back in her seat while smiling. "He's happy too mom, I can see it."

"As he should be." Max looks over at Amberlee. "I'm glad you are both happy."

"Me too!" Amberlee squeals. "Can you give me a hint on the dress?"

"Nope." Max pops the P.

"Pwease?"

"Sweetheart that doesn't work on me I invented that." Max responds.

"Yeah I guess you're right." Amberlee responds.

"I'm going on and picking up Anna from school, her Sarah and Summer are coming along." Max says.

"Okay." Amberlee responds. They both go to get out of the car to go inside of the school, them both going to stand in front of Annalise's classroom closed door. "Man how I don't miss this place."

Max laughs. "Remember you had that teacher first grade year that you hated?"

"Hell yes." Amberlee responds. "Truth be told I hated all of them but I tolerated most. But there were some that just really wanted to test me."

"Or you just didn't like being told what to do." Max respkds.

"What pft no!" Amberlee waves.

"Mhm."

"They just liked to test my patience."

"Ambie I gave birth to you I was the same way when I was in school. I know how you operate." Max says simply.

"So you agree with me right?" Amberlee questions.

"I agree you were being overdramatic at most times." Max smiles at her.

Amberlee rolls her eyes. "I thought I was being quite sane."

"Yeah and I'm a dude." Max responds.

The bell rings, all of the doors opening to the classrooms and all of the students making their way out of the doors and the teachers holding the doors open, the teacher going to greet Max and Amberlee both.

"Mommy LeeLee!" Annalise exclaims happily, going to hug Max first then Amberlee.

"Hey sunshine!" Amberlee picks her up. "Ready to try on a pretty dress for my wedding?"
