Chapter 7: Date Nights

Amir pulls into the driveway of the house, him taking the keys out of the car, him making his way out of the car along with Summer.

"Why were you getting mad at the pretty man?" Summer questions while she closes her door, Amir making his way out of the car and closing it behind him.

"He just gets on my nerves." Amir says while they both go towards the door.

"Why?" Summer questions, holding her blue life savor in her hands.

"That's a long story Flower." Amir says before he puts his keys through the door and opens it, letting Summer inside first. "Go on and get cleaned up and I'll be in there in a minute to read to you."

"Okay!" Summer cheers before she runs up the stairs.

Amir closes and locks the door behind him, going to make his way upstairs to his room. He goes to strip himself down and get into the shower, using his body wash and his shampoo and conditioner to wash his hair. After he is done showering he makes his way out, going to dry off and make his way into his room, opening the doors to his closet and walking inside of it, him looking at the different clothes. He wants to look stylish but not fancy either. He goes to grab his black jeans, wearing those and a blue buttoned up polo and some sneakers.

He blows dries his hair and sprays it four times with his hair spray, running his hand through his hair before shrugging. He goes to put his wallet in his back pocket and his phone before making his way out of the room, knocking on Summer's door.

"Come in!"

Amir laughs when he sees Summer playing with her life savor. "You're suppose to be in bed flower." He says while closing the door behind him.

"Look how it lights up it's so cool!" Summer says while swinging it around.

"Well we can show cousin Sarah and William tomorrow after school okay?" Amir says.

"Okay!" Summer says.

"Come on let me read you a story." Amir says, both of them getting up on the bed.

As soon as Amir gets done reading the story Summer's eyes droop close, her eyes closing and falling asleep. Amir gives her a kiss on her cheek before covering her up more, going to dull down the lamp before quietly making his way out of the door, closing it quietly behind him.

He makes his way down the stairs, going to knock on Steve and Nancy's door. "Mom dad?" Amir knocks, hearing music in the room. "Mom dad I'm going out!" He says, him just rolling his eyes before opening the door.

And she wished he hadn't. He sees Steve standing on the bed while dancing, him being shirtless, Nancy laying on the bed leaned on her elbow while money is on the bed.

"Yes sexy daddy give me more moves!" Nancy laughs while throwing cash at him.

"Oh I'll call this the sexy Steve!" Steve says.

"Wooo!"

"Gross!" Amir exclaims.

Steve turns around to face Amir. "Oh hey little man." Steve waves simply while resting his hands on his hips.

"Hey Amir!" Nancy waves.

Amir just looks at them with wide eyes. "Uhhh I'm going to go out." He points behind him. "Summer is asleep now."

"Alright have fun little man." Steve mentions.

"Have fun Amir! Now dance for me!" Nancy says dramatically before throwing more money on him.

"Ow Nants that was a coin!"

"Dance for me!"

Amir quickly closes the door, him just shaking his head before he leaves out of the house, going to make his way to the restaurant. When he gets there he makes his way inside, already spotting Stephanie's thick blonde hair, her looking around, her back being turned to him while she sits at a booth.
