"Oh how I loveeeee you!"
"Daddy stop it!" Amberlee laughs, her watching him set up the desk in the office, him being cris crossed on the floor as he uses a drill to put the different parts together while Amberlee sits in a chair looking at him, the radio running and music playing.
"I don't know what you're talking about my voice is amazing." Lucas says.
"No you're making yourself sound bad."
"OOOOOHHH!"
"Ah!" Amberlee covers her ears.
Lucas laughs. "Alright C is connected what's next?"
"Okay now you have to connect C over to D then from there A will be able to go in the middle of C and D to cause the separation of the desk." Amberlee explains.
"Okay but....how the hell do I do that?" Lucas questions.
Amberlee looks at the manual. "No clue it only gives words no pictures."
"Ugh I hate those freaking manuals that don't give the damn pictures!" Lucas says irritably. "Here let me see it Angel."
"Be my guest." Amberlee says before she hands him the manual. "Don't even see how you made it this far with that manual some of the words they put in I just feel like they look them up that way they can sound smart but really they sound like horse relish."
Lucas looks at her with a confused expression. "Horse relish?"
"Yeah." Amberlee nods.
"What does that even mean Angel?"
"It means it's sounds so bad it seems like a horse pukes out—"
"No no okay forget I asked I don't want to puke out my lunch." Lucas interrupts, him going back to look at the desk.
Amberlee looks towards the door when she hears a knock on it, her turning to see Ryder looking through the door with his hand in his pocket, him dressed in his normal attire of black jeans and a red leather jacket and black combat boots and a red simply T shirt. "Oh it's Ryder!"
"Scratch that now I'm going to puke." Lucas says.
"Hey be nice!" Amberlee says while going over to the door.
"Be nice." Lucas mocks in a high pitch tone to himself, him going back to working on the desk.
Amberlee opens the door for Ryder, him handing her a bag of food. "The three piece?" She questions while looking in the bag.
"Told me a million times what to get best believe it's right." Ryder says while making his way inside of the office.
"Yes." Amberlee drags out while going over to sit down and begin eating. "You didn't get you anything?"
"Already ate." Ryder responds.
"Already ate as in cereal or some microwave dinner?" Amberlee questions with raised eyebrows.
"Already ate as in yo Aunts fed me." Ryder responds.
"Well I guess that's okay." Amberlee shrugs. "Are the lights installed?"
"Yeah." Ryder replies, him going to stand besides Amberlee.
"Yes!" She squeals. "Can't wait to see they better be perfect Ranger."
"Again told me a million times best believe it's perfect." Ryder says.
"I'll be the judge of that." She responds.
Ryder leans on the older desk while his hands go in his pockets, them both looking at Lucas connecting the desk, him looking at the manual before back up at the pieces. Amberlee just continues to eat, knowing she is not about to be the one that starts the conversation. Yes she knows that Ryder and Lucas talked last night on her birthday but that was just them coexisting, not them actually having friendly conversations, it's just them being civil because they have to.
