Chapter 8. Love

Ao'nung's pov

Right after I finished my sisters braids, which took probably 2 or so hours, our mother called from inside our hut "the medic say's he can have visitors now!" I got up almost immediately and ran to the medic's hut as Tsireya followed me

I walked in to see him asleep, Jake holding his hand and neytiri messing with his hair, Kiri was off to the side reading to a sleeping Tuk and Lo'ak was asleep against the wall

Me and Tsireya both smiled as neytiri looked up "how's he doing?" Reya asked before I could ask it "he's doing much better" his mother said, looking down at her son who she moved the hair from his face

I moved over closer, sitting on the opposite side of Jake, they didn't know me and Neteyam had anything going on, frankly I don't think me or neteyam considered anything we've done in a dating way

Tsireya moving to lo'ak and sitting next to him, putting his head on her chest. Now they knew about them, it was pretty obvious even though they never told us anything

Slowly neytiri nodded to Jake and they both got up, Neytiri picking up Tuk who was basically knocked out and Jake picking up Kiri, who was almost asleep "I'll be back for lo'ak in a minute, take care of neteyam alright?" Jake said, to which I nodded "we're gonna put them to bed and rest ourselves, we haven't slept all day, we know he's safe with you" Neytiri said as they both walked out, Jake soon coming to get lo'ak and take him to bed before they closed the curtains to the hut and left me and Tsireya with a sleeping Neteyam

I took Neteyam's hand, quickly kissing it before Tsireya saw, she moved to the other side of neteyam and rubbed him arm "dont worry brother he'll be okay" she said, I smiled and nodded "I know, he's strong" i frowned at his scar, it was pretty big and would be there the rest of his life

"I'll leave you two alone alright?" She said, getting up and kissing my forehead before walking out and closing the curtain behind her again

I kissed Neteyam's hand again "I love you Ma neteyam" I said, not realizing his eyes where open but when I did I almost fell "h-hi Aon.." he said, smiling up at me slightly, to which I smiled back and kissed his hand again

"hello my flower." I smiled as he blushed "how are you feeling?" I asked, obviously because if he was in pain we could give him more medicine. he sighed, seeming like there was something wrong but he didn't want to say it

"If there's something hurting please tell me, I can get the medic and she can get you more medicine" I said, caressing his face, he just shook his head slowly
"Im alright" he said, moving his hand to hold mine against his face

I smiled and leaned down to his his cheek, he blushed and smiled "Ao'nung..." he looked at me, ushering me to come closer, to which I obliged and leaned down again, he held my face and put our foreheads together "what is it my love..?" I asked lowly, we where super close and goddamn then man made me fold in ways I could not explain, I wanted to touch him, everywhere. But I didn't in fear I would hurt him "Ao'nung...I love you" he said, tears in his eyes

I smiled, not sure why he was almost crying over such three simple words but I was happy to say them back "I love you too my blue flower" he smiled and closed his eyes, a few tears running down the sides of his face

I moved away and grabbed a cloth off of the side table to wiped his tears gently. Slowly leaning back to just gaze at him, I believe he had fallen back asleep so I had no fear of looking at him and being caught

He was stunning, his skin the perfect shade of blue, he has the most beautiful freckles all on his face and down his body, which glowed beautifully when it was dark

I watched his chest rise and fall, slowly moving my gaze down his body. Some interesting thoughts came to my mind, I just pushed them away closing my eyes, when I asked him to be my mate then maybe I could think of those things. I saw he had on an anklet that matched mine, other then it was a minty color with shells woven into it

My gaze moved to his beautiful face, cupping it slowly I kissed his right check, left, forehead, chin and then nose. Something my mother used to do when I was little when I was Ill, she said it made me better. I think she just wanted to try and make me feel better

I sat there with him until eclipse, when Tsireya and lo'ak came back, she was holding onto his arm laughing, I dropped his hand almost immediately before they noticed. Reya turning her head towards us "you should go home and sleep big bro" Reya said, smiling at me, I nodded and got up "has he awoken?" Lo'ak asked me, putting a hand on my shoulder to stop me from leaving yet "mhm, he woke up for a bit earlier but I guess he was too drained to stay awake" he nodded

"Did he say anything?" Reya asked, I could feel my face getting hot, obviously I wasn't gonna tell them he said he loved me "he just said hi and then I asked if anything bothered him and he said no, he just uh stared at the ceiling for a bit and then fell asleep"

They seemed to buy my words, Tsireya reaching up and kissing my cheek before following Lo'ak over to sit on the opposite side from where I was, conversing lowly enough I could not hear them as I sighed I love you my flower i thought before walking out and towards our own hut

Author hereee, I know most people skip these but oh well, I hope everyone likes this chapter, it should be nice the next few chapters...maybe
I'm not sure yet, so enjoy the happy while you can☺️
