Az'leta(Ah-Zee-La)

Third person pov

It had been weeks since Su'at had found him and brought him to the forest and Ao'nung loved it. He was learning things he never would've thought of. He's learned to shoot a bow, how to climb and swing from trees, and he's got his eye on a few Otasahie people but he still wanted neteyam

His next challenge was the hardest of all. He had to tame an ikran

Su'at took him to the mountain they lived on, moving closer to them "here, use this to tie its mouth shut" Su'at said, handing Ao'nung a thick rope before pushing him out to them, a few hissing and flying away

"Wait how do I know which is for me" Ao'nung asked, looking back at Su'at

"It will try to kill you" he said, smiling

Ao'nung just turning around and walked through them, one looking at him and hissing but not running

It was a beautiful teal with dark blue and gold running in strips along its body. Ao'nung looked at it and sighed "let's dance"

He quickly jumped out of the way as it lunged at him, he quickly climbed ontop of it, wrapping his legs around its neck and tying its mouth shut

"Make the bond!" Su'at yelled, Ao'nung taking his braid and connecting it the ikrans

His ikran stopped moving, calming down "hey there Az'leta"

Su'at jumped on his ikran "come for the first flight! It seals the bond!" He said as he dove off the cliff, Ao'nung following close behind

When they got in the air Ao'nung let go of his ikran, raising his arms in the air, laughing and screaming, Su'at looking back at him and smiling, copying what he was doing

They both had a lovely time flying before they headed back to the clan, leaving their ikrans on a hill and walking down "you did good son" Su'at said, patting his shoulder. Ao'nung smiled "you're one of us now, you may make your bow from the wood of home tree and pick a woman"

Ao'nung stopped, so now he had to pick a woman, great

Su'at looked back at him "you okay kid?" He asked "yea I'm fine" Ao'nung said, following Su'at again

"You can make your bow in a few days when I go to see my daughter at the head of the forest, you can come. she's marrying the olo'eyktan yk" Su'at said, smiling proudly

"Which clan runs the head of the forest?" Ao'nung asked, but before Su'at could answer someone called for him and he left, leaving Ao'nung to his own thoughts

He missed neteyam so much

Yes I did a very big time skip I'm sorry😭
Also I'm very sorry this chapter is really short, the next one will most likely be under 1000 words as well, don't worry they'll get longer soon, next one should revolve the metkayina clan again
As always tell me what you think
Much love
