A stack of papers fell before him, the blonde boy staring blankly at the pile as he sat still. "Are you using this student counsellor thing as a means to just invade the privacy of the students?" a teacher asked, his voice booming and causing Felix to flinch slightly where he sat. "Answer me!"
Felix shook his head, holding his hands tightly together to stop them from trembling as much as they were currently. "I would never do that-"
"Then why aren't you helping Seo Changbin?" Felix couldn't meet his gaze so instead, he stared at the floor. "Why is it that, instead of helping, you seem to be dating him now?" Felix watched as the teacher tapped his foot incessantly, the heel of his dress shoe creating a reptitive echo around his small office. "Are you even listening to me?"
"I am." He raised his head, a practiced smile on his face as he focused his attention onto a pimple between the teacher's eyebrows. "It's just that my job is to listen to them so I do believe that that's what I've been doing-"
The teacher stopped pacing the room, his body swaying slightly at the sudden break in momentum. Without missing a beat, he grabbed the nearest object (it was just the stack of papers) and slammed them against the table in what Felix assumed to be his attempt at intimidation.
As he droned on and on about procedures, Felix found himself wondering where Changbin was. Ever since he got taken away by the teachers during their counselling session, he hadn't seen or heard from the boy at all. Albeit it had only been a day since he hadn't seen him but Felix was already concerned.
"...the sanctity of our morals..." Felix suppressed the urge to roll his eyes when he said that. He watched as his teacher's eyes continuously glanced at his phone on the table and when it lit up, he immediately grabbed for it.
He walked out of his office talking in a hushed tone which gave Felix an opportunity to properly look through the papers his teacher kept tossing around.
His eyes scanned each page quickly, looking for something that could indicate as to where Changbin could be considering he didn't even have the boy's contact number saved on his phone. And when he finally found his details, he hurriedly took a photo of the page, rearranging the papers exactly how they had looked before his teacher left and sitting back down nonchalantly on the chair as if waiting eagerly for him to return.
The moment he sat down, the door clicked, signalling that he was done with his call. Felix heard him let out a sigh behind him, the sound of his heels stopping right by the door. "You're free to go," he said. Felix took his bag from the floor and as he was leaving, he offered a slight bow to his teacher.
"Just so you know, Seo Changbin has been suspended from school for a week so don't expect him to come waltzing into your 'sunshine room' anytime next week." Felix nodded at his information, trying his best to maintain the easy yet unreadable expression on his face.
But once he was outside, he felt his smile drop, a thousand questions running through his mind and never quite receiving the answers he wanted as he made his way back to class.

"Any weekend plans?" Felix looked up and saw Jisung kneeling by his table, a smiling Seungmin stood behind him.
Felix shook his head lightly, his smile not quite reaching his eyes. "I'll probably just be studying," Felix said, Jisung immediately booing his friend while Seungmin chuckled, uttering 'nerd' under his breath.
As they walked out of school, Felix tuned their conversation out, his head preoccupied with thoughts of Changbin. So much so that when he saw someone standing in all black by the main road, he felt his heart instinctively beating faster only to get disappointed when it was someone else.
