twenty five march, two pm
student : yang jeongin
signed by : lee felix

the first thing that felix noticed when the younger boy walked in was the dark circles under his eyes along with the faint tinge of red on his nose and the way that he was sniffling, already on the verge of tears before they had even spoken a word to one another.

felix also noticed how the boy was shaking, barely able to keep himself up on two legs as he fell unceremoniously onto the armchair facing felix.

"did you lose weight?"

it wasn't part of the standard procedure but he couldn't help but ask that first, noticing how the boys' already loose clothes seemed even baggier than before, even the belt wrapped around his pants seemingly barely able to keep them in place.

it had only been a few days since jeongin came for a "session" but despite that, felix had observed how the boy had started losing his smile and along with it, his appetite.

although he wasn't as close to the younger boy as he was with jisung, he was a naturally observant person and managed to pick up on the different mannerisms of those around him which made him the perfect candidate to be their schools' student counselor.

but sometimes, he thought that being observant was a bane with him noticing subtle things far too quickly than he should.

"wha-what makes you say that hyung?"

jeongin stammered, shutting his eyes for a few seconds before trying to focus his gaze on felix again.

"jeongin, are you dizzy?"

felix stood up, slowly approaching the boy who was swaying slightly despite him being seated and kneeling down in front of him.

jeongin had shut his eyes again and that was when felix put two and two together.

"you haven't been eating, have you?"

"it-it's just that, i want to be someone on the same league as hyunjin hyung and i...i don't know. i feel completely..."

he trailed off, not really knowing what else to say.

"is that why you two were fighting yesterday? i didn't mean to observe but-"

"it-it's alright. he chose to confront me in public so it's only normal that some people would notice. i'm glad that it's you though hyung."

jeongin offered a small smile to felix but upon closer inspection, felix noticed how pale he had become and how his eyes seemed to have lost any sort of cheerfulness they once had.

"mind telling me what it was about?"

"i-"

but before he could finish his sentence, he collapsed, falling forward off of the chair and into felixs' arms, the australian boy panicking as he started to scream for help.

"He'll be fine," the school nurse muttered, giving Felix a kind smile as she left to contact Jeongins' parents about their sons' collapse.
