Felix wiped his hands on his shirt, clicking his tongue as he saw the scratch that formed on his palms. He looked around, his eyes wandering over the empty hallway. Sighing, he took out some tissues from his bag and wiped the floor, making sure that no red remained.

"Why're you cleaning this up?" A familiar voice asked. Felix looked up, eyes meeting Changbins', the latter of which kneeling down in front of him as he pointed at the tissues that Felix was holding. "It's his mess, not yours. And besides, Jeongin pushed him and you just so happened to be dragged down by him on accident so none of this really involves you."

"I know that but-"

"Let's go for lunch," Changbin suggested, standing up and pulling on the strap of his backpack that hung loosely on his right side. Felix stared at him, raising an eyebrow before continuing to wipe the floor.

Changbin groaned and pulled on Felixs' backpack, forcing him to stand up and causing him to drop the tissues that were now stained red. Changbin took Felixs' hand in his and taking out his handkerchief, he wiped Hyunjins' blood from his fingertips. While he did so, Felix remained silent, a thousand thoughts running through his mind, all of which comprised of the boy before him.

As he stared at the 'troubled' boy he was tasked to 'counsel', he felt his heart pounding against his chest, afraid that eventually his heart would leave him and hop right into Changbins' hands. And so, he pulled away, trying to contain the wave of sadness that overwhelmed him when his hands felt cold once more, the warmth being stripped away by him and him alone.

Changbin opened his mouth but immediately shut it when Felixs' phone started ringing, the younger of the pair quickly answering it.

On the other side of the line, Felix could hear someone whimpering, trying their best to hide their cries. "Jisung?" Felix asked.

"I-I found him Lix," Jisung said in between sobs. "I-I did it..."

"So why're you crying?" Felix asked, Changbin staring at him as he talked although he couldn't hear a word that was being said from the person on the phone. Changbin mouthed words at Felix but Felix simply ignored it. Felix heard Jisung try to speak but he began crying again. "Where did you go? I'll come to you. Ji-"

"I should be happy right?" His voice cut Felix off. "He-he called me Lix. He called me because he found out that I was worried." A bitter laugh fell from his lips, the sound ringing through Felixs' ear and sending chills down his spine. "He told me that I should just give up, that...ah fuck someone might hear me."

"Jisung where are you?" Felix asked, walking down the hallway and checking every classroom only to find them empty as Changbin trailed after him although he had no grasp of the ongoing situation. "Ji-"

"He told me that I was dumb to cling onto him Lix." Felix walked into the toilets, checking every cubicle for the boy. "He-he left me on purpose Lix. I-I'm alone again-"

"No you're not. Han Jisung-"

"I-I can't take this." Another laugh riddled with resentment was heard from the other side of the line followed by a loud thud as the call ended.

Felix stopped dead in his tracks, dialing his number again only to be met with the answering machine. Felix felt his entire body go tense, his mind being overloaded with all that was happening.

He closed his eyes for a second, his head whirring as the world around him kept moving, a cold wind blowing past him as he bit his tongue to stop himself from screaming, his fists clenched tightly to stop himself from pulling at his hair.

Just as he was about to walk off again, he felt a pair of arms wrap around his waist and subconsciously, he wanted to run away from the sudden contact. But for some reason, he stayed.

Changbin placed his head in the crook of Felixs' neck, taking in the faint scent of pine and lavender. Felix looked straight ahead, unable to face the boy who didn't utter a word yet somehow managed to comfort Felix with his mere presence alone.

It baffled him - how was it possible for someone to have such an effect on him? Felix wanted to know the answer but deep down, he knew that whatever the answer would be, he would be the one on the losing end.

He always was.

So, when Changbin let go, he did everything in his power to stop himself from reaching out to him again, letting the cold air greet him once more as he ran a hand through his hair.

"I'll go find Jisung so you can go home-"

"I'll go with you," Changbin said, standing next to Felix.

"You don't even know who he is-"

"But, I know you and clearly, you're worried so I want to help." Changbin smiled slightly at Felix before walking in front of him, checking the other classrooms that he wasn't able to check before.

Felix felt a smile tugging on the corners of his lips but it quickly fell as he followed Changbin in searching for Jisung.

.

Jisung sat across from Changbin and Felix, the pair staring at him as he drank the juice they bought for him.

After searching through all the floors in their school, they finally checked outside and, by the parking lot they found Jisung sitting on a bench that was practically covered by shadows. When they found him, his eyes were bloodshot and his nose was a bright red while he shook like a leaf, inhaling and exhaling so heavily that his entire upper body moved along with the beats of his breath.

Felix immediately ran to him, engulfing him a hug which he gladly accepted as he murmured apologies to his almost birthday twin.

"So, are you one of Lix's patients?" Jisung asked, breaking the silence.

Changbin nodded, leaning back on the seat and folding his arms. Jisung nodded and took another sip of his juice, still trying his best to recollect himself and forcing some sense of normalcy.

"What should I do now?" Jisung asked, his question directed at Felix who sat directly in front of him.

"I know it'll be hard but please, try your best to move on." His tone shocked Changbin because he had never properly heard Felix speak like a counselor ( mainly because he rarely gave him the chance to be one during their sessions ). Changbin watched as Felix flashed one of his famous comforting smiles at Jisung, the other boy nodding slightly and smiling back.

"I'll try my best Lix," Jisung said, drinking his orange juice while Felix beamed at him.

"Good," Felix said although a thought ran through his head, memories he so wished to forget and let go flashing before him making him think to himself if he could take his own advice one day.
