Chapter 28-War Is Here

The sky is beginning to set, Neteyam decides it's a good time to start heading home, he decides that it would be the best choice to drop you home first like a gentlemen.You both walk home hand in hand while you lean on him gently, on the way you both engage in small chatter."Thank you Netey" you whisper to him, this causes his cheeks to redden slightly until horns blare loudly before Neteyam could even respond.

Your eyes widen, quickly realising what these horns meant-a clan meeting.You grab his hand swiftly before taking off towards your parents hut, everyone is already gathered around.Both you and Neteyam squeeze through the crowd before you enter the centre where both your families reside.Jake Sully seems to be trying to get the crowds attention yet no one listen to him.Neteyam joins it,"Listen to my father, Listen!" Yet still no one looks towards him.

This is until you shout "Listen to his words,Now!"  This causes everyone to look towards you than towards where you were pointing-The sully family.

"This is only the beginning, you have to tell your Tulkun to leave!", people begin to shout back, not completely considering  his words."If you fight they will destroy you!" Jake Sully shouts once more.Jake sully raises the tracker to the air,"You tell your people that if a tulkun is hit with this, they are marked for death".An eery silence is heard in the air.You're eyes quickly drift towards your parents figures, awaiting their response."Tell the Tulkun" everyone splits off warning the Tulkun of the plan.

This all means War is announced.Worry overfills your body, threatening to spill, you have trained your whole life.Gotten so brilliant at it that you are qualified enough to teach it, yet here you stand while the rest of your clan run off to prepare for war while cheering and screaming.Everyone seems ready, prepared and yet self-doubt over takes you.What if you aren't good enough? Not strong enough to protect your family?.You have spent most of your time training for the one day that you could protect your family and loved ones.You have to give it your all.

You raise your fist to the air, a sign that nothing will stop you or your clan from failure.Everyone Splits off into multiple directions, gathering they weapons.You run off to your hut grabbing your most prized weapon, one that has given you countless victories-Your Spear.It is long in length and has a few dents along the rim of the weapon.On both sides of the spear are sharp animal teeth that you have hunted along side your brother.

When you finish collecting all the necessary items, you run off towards where Ao'nung, Lo'ak and Neteyam are.You weren't there for the entirety of the conversation but from the sounds of it, it seems Lo'ak and Neteyam were fighting.Neteyam's hand goes to reach over Lo'ak head,"Why do you have to make everything so hard?" Neteyam asks his younger brother.This seems to tick Lo'ak off,Roughly he shoves Neteyam's hand off himself."No you mean why can't I be the perfect son like you,He my brother!"Lo'ak swiftly turns around to Leave before Neteyam pulls him back around."No im your brother!"Neteyam spits back.Lo'ak doesn't bother responding and jumps off into the water, swimming off in the direction of Pakyukan.

A Loud sigh erupts from Neteyam before he claps his hands calling for his Ilu,"He after Payukan!Lets go!" Neteyam shouts to everyone before we all follow in suits.You two jump on your Ilu and follow behind Neteyam swiftly.Swiftly you swim up to Neteyam following his fast pace."You're brother is in real danger Neteyam" you sigh out, worry written all over your face.Your eyes drift over to Neteyam's determined ones.You swim close enough to place a reassuring hand on his thigh hoping to ease his distressed mind."Leave it to him to get himself into danger" he places his hand on top of yours, squeezing it lightly in the process.

Soon enough to see Lo'ak in the distance, As everyone speeds off towards him you realise there is some sort of disturbance in the water.

Eventually you all reach payukan, some sort of huge object is stuck within one of his fins, you and everyone else go to pull it out with all their might.Neteyam goes to wrap a rope tightly around the tracker before jumping on his Ilu.Lo'ak calls for our parents back up while everyone tries to pull the tracker off.Beads of sweat form on your forehead,"Come on everyone!" You scream.Suddenly it comes loose causing everyone to loose balance and fall in the water.

It's hard to keep track of everything that's going on around you.Screams are heard all around you while Neteyam shouts to everyone "Go,Go,go, I'll lead them away".Before you can interject Neteyam is already rushing off into the opposite direction with the tracker in his arms.There is no time to stop him so instead you lead everyone back to safely."Let's move" you shout.

You guys don't get far before some sort of smaller ships submerged themselves under the water and begin following your whole group.You all try you best to our-speed them yet you're Ilu's are not quick enough.Soon enough the catch up and you all resort to hiding in the sea plants.You swim up into one the the plants hoping to Eywa they don't find your hiding spot.As you reach the top you take a much needed deep breath, huffing as you look around yourself.

Suddenly Ao'nung jumps up from the water spooking you,"Oh Eywa, You're safe!" You go over to hug your brother tightly.Ao'nung pulls you in too, stroking your back gently,"They have Tsireya, Lo'ak and Tuk" Ao'nung breathes out.Immediately you pull back, "We need to go after them!" Ao'nung nods at you."Agreed"

Why does it keep autocorrecting 'Sully' to silly😭
I just want to apologise for not posting this chapter earlier, I got food poisoning from my rubbish cooking(Never trust me with food y'all) and got really sick because of it, I'm better now so I'll be posting chapters now!!!
Also one more chapter before you all know what !!!
