_BAD LUCK BOY_
•••
EVIE'S POV
•••

Everybody was sat in the living room. Sapphire and I were chatting quietly until Johnny walked in, holding a letter. "Sapphire this just came," he said and walked around the sofa. He passed it to her and I leaned in too look as she opened it. Before I could get a good look, Sapphire was jumping up and down screaming with joy. In doing so, she knocked Toby making him collapse on the card tower they were building.

"Nice one," Frank commented, making me laugh.

"Dizzee?" Sapphire squealed, "Are you joking me?" she screamed with joy again. "My dad's got me two tickets for tomorrow night! How cool is that?" she bragged, showing Liam the tickets. He nodded and began rebuilding the card tower. I laughed at how excited Sapphire was, "Cos my dad's like, a roadie, so..." she laughed. "We'll probably go backstage and meet Dizzee and his crew!" she blabbered and walked off to find Gina. I could hear her joy from the living room.

"Who's Dizzee anyway?" Liam asked,
my mouth dropped open, "What?" he asked.

"Dizzee Rascal?" I said, he still looked baffled, "Bassline junkie?" I said, he still looked confused. I shook my head in disappointment. "I can play you one of his songs if you want?" I offered and began opening Spotify on my phone, Liam nodded and collapsed next to me on the sofa.

"No- nope! no-" Tracy stopped me as I was about to press play, "Not around the young ones!"

I groaned and closed the app. I suddenly heard Sapphire's joyful voice turn into an angry spit, I followed Tracy out into the hall to see whats going on.

"I hate you!" I heard Sapphire yell and she came storming down the stairs.

"What's happened?" I asked, going towards her. She looked pissed.

"She won't let me go to the concert!" she said, and continued going down the corridor until Tracy stopped her.

"What's going on?" Tracy asked.

"You lot! Stopping me going to the gig!" Sapphire said angrily, "It's like being in prison."

Tracy spoke in a calm tone. "Wait," Tracy said and Sapphire turned around, I watched from a far, "I'm not stopping you from going anywhere- why won't Gina let you go?"

"She doesn't want me to see my dad," Sapphire pouted and Tracy followed after her. I let them be and went upstairs.

I collapsed onto the bed and then Sapphire came in, "So whats happened?" I asked.

"Gina ain't letting me go to the gig!" she huffed and sat on top of her desk, "Tracy's tryna sort it though,"

"Oh," I said, "Tracy's probably gonna let you go, you know? She's calm like that," I joined her on the desk top.

"Hopefully she sorts it," Sapphire said and fiddled with her rings.

"Damn, you know Liam doesn't even know who Dizzee is?" I said, trying to make her laugh.

"Liam's weird like that," she said, still grumpy, "He's too busy with his Gorillaz cd," I laughed and Sapphire had a little smile.

There was a knock on the bedroom door, "It's Tracy," she called.

"Come in," Sapphire called back and Tracy came inside.
