_MISSING PRESUMED SINGLE_
•••
EVIE'S POV
•••I blinked my eyes open as the sun was peaking through the curtains. I rolled over and saw Liam laying beside me. I smiled and gazed at him. Waking up next to my husband was one of the best things ever.
"Are you watching me sleep?" Came Liam's morning voice. I jumped a little and averted my gaze.
"What? No!" I defended.
"Your so weird." Liam said, he opened his eyes and rolled over, kissing me. I giggled. "What's the time?" he asked.
I checked my phone. "Shit," I breathed. "9:53." I said, "We gotta get up, it's Mike's wedding today. I don't want us to be late." I reluctantly got out of bed.
Liam groaned but got up too. Then we heard crying in the next room. "I'll get Ava." He said, stumbling out of the room, yawning.
I had a quick shower before getting dressed. I put on a black dress and put my braids into a half up-half down style. I put on some jewellery before going into the kitchen and saw Liam dressed in a grey suit but with a T-shirt instead of a proper, smart shirt. "Come on, dress smarter," I said to him, flattening his shirt. He shrugged.
"Wear nicer shoes." He said.
"Shut up. These are nice shoes." I said and showed him the Jordan 1s I was gonna wear. Liam laughed and kissed my temple.
"You look pretty." He mumbled and kissed me. I smiled against his lips.
Ava babbled in her high-chair, obviously wanting some attention too. I walked around the Island and pressed a kiss to her cheek.Ava was Liam and I's one year old daughter. We gave her the middle name 'Tracy', and when we told Tracy herself she cried. Tracy was even appointed as Ava's God-mum. Ava had small tufts of curls and the cutest smile. Everyone said she looked like me but I couldn't see it.
When Liam and I got married we were scolded because of how young we were. It took Liam a long time to get my dad's blessing and El gave him a long talk. It's safe to say that Liam is petrified of her. When we found out that I was pregnant, El had to refrain from punching him because she thought he forgot an elastic but we had planned it. It was hilarious to me. Liam and I are only 26 so we still get confused looks from people and scoldings from elders.
"I have to get Ava dressed, then we can leave." I said, I picked her up and then dipped into Ava's bedroom. We lived in a flat and it was quite small but housing prices were sky-rocketing at the moment and it was all we could afford. I bathed her before getting her dressed and I put her in trainers that matched mine. Ava was 1 and her shoe game was already better than mine.
Well, that's a lie. My shoe collection is better, just being honest.
But I still made sure her kicks were fresh. Liam thought it was funny and kinda weird but I just ignored him and got on with it. It was cute. I don't care. My dad even contributed and got Ava some black airforces to match his.
We finally left the flat to go to Mike's wedding at half one. Ava was fussing and threw up on her outfit so I had to bath her and get her dressed again. Then she got snot all over Liam's shirt so he had to change. But we were finally out of the door and Ava was snoozing in her car seat.
