LIAM'S POV
•••

Yet again, I'd been returned to the DG. I wasn't excited or upset, but I wasn't extremely pissed to be taken back. It's normal for me to be sent back to the dumping ground so it didn't come as a surprise or anything. Maybe I was even excited to come back?

Mike and Frank had taken my bags and walked towards the house, thinking I was following them. But instead I legged it over to where my bedroom was and began climbing the pipe. I was hanging off the window and attempted to climb inside but a girl, I didn't recognise, was brandishing a chair in my face and Carmen was shouting at her. Sapphire told me there were a few new girls but I didn't think one of then would attack me with a chair.

"Lily stop it! That's Liam!" Carmen said.

The girl with the chair, Lily, ignored her, "Well I don't know him! He could be anyone!" She shouted back.

"Get that thing away from me!" I said and kept repeating it.

Hearing the commotion, Sapphire came running in, "What's going on?" she asked, "Oh, hey Liam," she said noticing my head in the window.

I nodded, "Saff," I replied.

"See, I told you it's Liam," Carmen said, the girl put the chair down, "Lily this is Liam,"

"Alright," I said, holding up a hand. I slipped a little then started climbing into the room. "So I guess this ain't my room anymore?" I asked.

"It's Poppy and Rosie's," Carmen explained, "Their sisters my best friend,"

"Oh for goodness sake, Liam," Mike said, coming into the room. He walked over to wear I was struggling to get through the window, "Could you not come in the front door, like everybody else?" he asked, he grabbed hold of my hood and shoulder and lifted me into the bedroom. I walked towards the door frame where Gina was yelling.

"What did you think you were doin', huh?" Gina asked, "What? You wanted to end up a pile of broken bones on the floor?"

"Oh nice to see you too Gina," I said sarcastically, she gave me a look, "So where am I staying then?" I asked.

Mike lead me down the corridor to Carmen's old room, Frank had caught up carrying the bin bags of my stuff. "The pink palace! My favourite," I said, walking in and rubbing my hands together. There was a woman with dark hair and headphones humming and dancing by the bed where she was sorting out my bedding, I immediately recognised her as the woman I met at the police station- Tracy.

"We'll paint it," Frank says, dumping my stuff.

"Entertainment's better than I remember," I said, digging in my pocket and flipping out my phone to record.

"She works here," Frank said, snickering.

"Oh! Hey, Liam," she said, finally noticing us and taking her headphones out.

"Writing career going well then?" I asked, a cheeky grin on my face. Frank looked confused. "Oh! We met in prison," I said. Everyone's heads (Toby, Frank, Tee and Gus) turned in shock and looked between me and Tracy.

Tracy chuckled nervously, "We met at the police station," Tracy explained, better than I did. Everybody sighed in relief and got back to what they were doing. "Heard you were coming back. You ok?" she asked.
