EVIE'S POV
•••I was finally leaving juvie. It wasn't as bad as last time. I had a lot of fights, however. It got bad. I left the centre with a black eye and a busted lip. When I was inside, I had a couple visits from my family and Sapphire. Shelley came with Jamie one time too. I haven't heard from Liam. Sapphire told me he went to live with Jack and none of them had heard from him since either. It still hurt that Liam never came. Mike never visited either. Tracy visited once, she came with Sapphire.
My Dad picked me up from the prison and then dropped me off at elm tree. I had to pack up the rest of my stuff before I could go live with Dad. I stood in front of the house and stared at the door. I made to go inside but I heard yelling and screaming. Not surprising. It was probably Elektra. I decided to go round back and climb up my window, the O'donavan special. I put my bag on my back and shimmied up the pipe. I forced the window open and chucked my bag inside before climbing in myself.
I looked around my room and smiled. Everything was the same. My posters were all the same, my shoe collection still resided under my bed, my sheets were the same and my wardrobe was even ajar from where I got dressed on my last morning before juvie. I collapsed onto my bed and breathed out. Then, I heard Carmen shouting outside my room.
"Why does she have to go in my room? Put her in Evie's room! It's empty, isn't it?!" She shouted.
"Evie's coming back today." Mike said to her. "And Jody needs some love and care, she's had a tough time of it lately." I got up off my bed and opened the door.
"Nice try, Mike. But did you really think she was gonna fall for that " I asked him. Everyone in the hall turned to looked at me, all of them shared the same confused expression.
"Evie? When did you get here?" Mike asked me. "What happened to your face?" Harry ran at me and hugged me.
I stumbled, a little taken a-back but wrapped my arms around the young, blonde boy. "Hey, little man." I said to him and then turned back to Mike. "I just got in. Done an O'donavan and climbed up the pipe." I said. "Oh, and I had a couple fights. It's no biggie."
Mike laughed, "Not surprising." He said to me. Then Harry let go off me. Tee came over and hugged me. So did Carmen and Lily.
"Gosh, I wasn't gone that long." I said, chuckling.
"We missed you, Evie." Tee said to me.
"Aw, I missed you guys too." I said, smiling at the trio of girls my arms were wrapped around.
"Alright, guy, give her some space." Mike said, prying the kids off of me. I laughed and greeted Mike by slapping his palm. "Office, please." He said to me, "We'll talk there."
I nodded and went downstairs into the office where Gina and Tracy were.
"Evie? When did you get back?" Tracy asked and Gina held the same confused expression."What happened to your face?" Gina asked.
"Just now. Came through the window. Oh, and I had a few fights, it's no biggie. It's not abnormal or anything." I explained. Tracy smiled and hugged me. Gina smiled and hugged me as well. "So what's going on? Why is there so much shouting? What's Elektra done now?"
