_MEETING_

EVIE'S POV
•••

I walked through the gates of school and quickly spotted my friends. "Yo! Evie's back!" Jamie hyped me up and held out his palm. I grinned and slapped it. I hadn't been at school for a week or so and now I was returning.

"It's good to be back." I said, I looked over to Elizabeth and Donte. Donte had his arm around Elizabeth's shoulder and I did a double take. "So is this a thing now?"

"Yeah." Elizabeth admitted, smiling at him.

"Hm." I said and folded my arms, "Ya'no, if you hurt her then I'ma pattern you real nice. " I told him.

Donte snickered, "Yeah, yeah man, Lizzie warned me." He said and I hummed. We stood around and chatted for a while before the bell rang for form time.

"Where you been this whole time, though?" Keon asked, curiously.

"Ay, did you miss me?" I teased, laughing. Keon rolled his eyes and I went to sit on Shelley's lap.

"Nah, fam," Keon shrugged and this time I rolled my eyes.

"To be honest, we were worried for you, Vi," Jamie said, honestly. Everyone looked at me, sort of concerned.

"Man said worried," I tried to laugh it off, the others giggled a little and I slid off of Shelley's lap and onto the bench.

"Nah, serious, you're making jokes but on a serious ting," Jamie began and everyone had the same expression as him, "What happened, Vi? Cos I heard there was a madness on ends, feds and everything but I weren't there I was country."

I frowned, "Uhh," I hummed, "Yeah, it was fucking mad." I said, "Basically..."

I'd been back at school for two days and everything was going fine until Wednesday, Period 5, Science. It was that girl Vanessa again. Lord, I hated that little white girl. She was a snake who wore nike pros and her eyelashes weren't glued on properly, and I'm pretty sure she's racist. How they put us in the same class after I mashed her up, I have no idea.

I was sat next to Shelley and ferociously rubbing out. Shelley was confused as well so I couldn't ask her. I sighed, "Sir! I don't understand this!" I called at Mr Roberts. He was a middle-aged man who wore tweed suits and was already balding.

"One sec, Evie!" he called.

"But I need help now!" I said just to be annoying, Shelley laughed next to me.

"Shut up, Evie!" Vanessa scoffed at me, "Is it everyday complaining?"

I kissed my teeth, "You shut up, man, always chatting rubbish." there was some 'oo'-ing noises.

"Go suck your mum!" Vanessa told me.

"What did you just say to me?" I asked her, glaring.

"Woah, alright calm down now girls." Mr Roberts said, "Evie, I'll come over to help you in a sec."

"Nah, sir, I wanna know who this little white girl things she is." I said, holding my glare. "Acting like I won't do nothing."
