_ELEKTRA_
•••
EVIE'S POV
•••

A new girl had arrived at elm tree today. She was Liam and mine's age with blue hair. Her name was Elektra. When she came in to meet us, Carmen was quick to jump up and try to be besties with her.

"Hi, you must be Elektra?" Carmen said, with a wide grin on her face. "Wow. Amazing hair how did you get it so-"

"Shut up. Who's in charge?" Elektra asked. "Are you all thick or something? I said, who's in charge?"

Everyone exchanged looks and looked over to Liam and me from where we were stood by the pool table. She stormed towards us and shoved me over the pool table. I collapsed onto the floor and looked up. "Come on then."

"Are you chicken or what?" she asked me, as I struggled to get myself backup.

I quickly got up and tied my hair up, I chucked my pool stick down, rolled up my sleeves and went to run around the pool table but Liam caught hold of me. "Let me go!" I said, slapping his arm.

"What? You need your boyfriend for protection?" Elektra yelled.

"No!" I shouted and again tried to escape Liam's hold.

"She ain't fighting you!" Liam said firmly.

"Yes I am! Liam, Let go!" I shouted, struggling some more, but he just held me tighter so I couldn't get to her.

"Evie, you're not fighting her," He repeated, even firmer. I continued to struggle until Elektra gave up and left. I rolled my eyes, picking my pool stick back up, "That's 4-0,"

"Why didn't you let me at her?" I grumbled to Liam once Elektra had stormed out. He didn't respond and instead turned to everyone else.

"Why'd you look at her? Fight your own battles for a change, cos she ain't doing it!" He snapped at them. They all looked a little guilty. "Come on, Evie." Frank, Liam and I left the living room.

Liam took us to the attic where he found some cool stuff. We shifted some things around and made it somewhat homey until Liam rubbed his hands together.

"I now declare, Liam, Evie and Frank's secret den open." He said.

"Uh, Frank, Liam and Evie's secret den." Frank argued.

"No, no, Evie, Liam and Frank's secret den." I said.

"We can argue about the name later." Liam said. He sat down on a swing that was attached to the ceiling and swung back and forth.

"Shall I get the others?" Frank asked moving towards the stairs to leave.

"No!" Liam said, immediately, "This is for us! Let them go and find their own den."

Then, Liam, Frank and me went downstairs. Liam and Frank got a mattress and lifted it between them to take it upstairs. I walked alongside them.

"Don't you just love having our own den?" Liam asked.

"Shut your corny-arse up." I said to him, he laughed. He sounded like one of those fake conversations on a crappy tv show.
