CHAPTER THIRTY FOUR:

marcie was sitting in her office doing some work when she heard something hit the ground. she jumped from the sound and went to see what it was.

she quickly noticed it was a picture frame that had fallen on the ground.

it was strange because it hadn't been near the edge of the desk. she picked it up and saw it was a photo of her and allison.

once she picked it up, her hands started glowing one was red and the other was black.

there was a knock at the door and she hid her hands under her desk, not wanting whoever it was to see her glowing hands.

she looked back down and her hands had stopped glowing.

"come in." she said as her assistant walked in.

"ms. levy, you have a visitor." haley her assistant said.

"thank you haley, send them in." marcie said as she saw someone walk into her office making her smile.

"ms. levy, i'm looking for some legal counsel." stiles said before closing her door.

marcie got up from her desk and she got pulled into stiles's arms and they kissed almost immediately.

"you're not gonna need legal counsel with these hot guns." marcie replied as stiles chuckled.

"i missed you so much." stiles told her as she smiled at him.

stiles had been away on FBI business while marcie was at her law firm. after taking a law class in her arts degree, she fell in love and decided to pursue law school.

she was now the owner of her own firm for criminal law and she loved it.

"i'm taking the rest of the evening off, let's get dinner." marcie said as stiles smiled and kissed her again.

"you are the best fiancé ever." stiles replied.

stiles drove them home to make dinner together, they smiled and laughed, enjoying their time together. after dinner, they had some wine and things got heated in the bedroom.

marcie fell asleep in stiles's arms and he felt her shifting around in her sleep.

marcie was dreaming back to that day, she saw it all so vividly.

"i can't. i can't take your pain."

"it's because it doesn't hurt."

"no."

"it's okay."

"allison."

"it's okay. it's okay. it's okay. it's perfect. i'm in the arms of my first love. the first person i ever loved. the person i'll always love. i love you. scott. scott mccall."

"don't, please, don't. allison don't, please." scott cried.

"you have to tell my dad. you have to tell my dad. tell him. you have to-" was allison's finally words.

marcie fell to her knees and she couldn't stop herself from breaking down.

she'd just watched her best friend die and she wasn't there to save her.
