I just want to go to fucking sleep, but on the phone with me is Emma, and she is freaking out. I have no clue what she is even talking about.
"Jenna, are you listening to me?" Emma asked and was looking at me with crazy eyes through the phone. All I have caught from this entire conversation is that she said something about China.
"I mean, if you spoke in English and not in panic, I could understand you." I said this while staring at Emma, perplexed.Like, come on, I just got home from work two hours ago.
"Jenna, listen to me." Before I left work today, I heard the other cast members talking. about you and China." Emma said it again, but slower this time. Man, not this again; I just left this at work.
"This again?" I shook my head in frustration.
"Yes. "And I think there might be a problem." Emma said, looking at me with calmer eyes but still panicked.
"Problem? "What do you mean, problem?" I said, and I really didn't want to know the problem; it would just add stress.
"Well, apparently you two have a press interview about the movie. They are going to question your relationship. "If so, we have to do this sh*t and fast." Emma said, but the words sounded like they were running off her tongue. I froze. They never mentioned a press interview for us.
"Umm, I wasn't told about a press interview." I stood up from my seat and said this. This can't be good.
"Yeah, well, you do." "Tuesday, to be precise."Emma said, and with that, I was about to panic.
"Tuesday is in 3 days." I said this after I realized what was causing Emma's panic.
"Exactly. "Where is China?" Emma asked, and I felt my chest tighten. China wasn't here, but I guess I'm going to have to call her.
"China is at home." She was going to come back over tomorrow. "Should I tell her to come over?" I asked, and I honestly felt that this was not the time for this.
"Yes, call her now." "I'm headed over now because we need to fix this now." Emma said, and I just nodded my head and hung up the phone. I sat the phone down on my lap and wanted to scream. Can't I just get to sleep? As badly as I want to launch this phone across the room, I have to call Bae. I picked up the phone, clicked here for contact, and hit call.
"Hello?" China's voice rang through the phone. I smiled at hearing her voice, though I had heard it all day.
"Umm. "Can you come over?" I asked in a slightly awkward but cute way.
"Yes, but what's wrong?" China said, and it sounded like she was sitting up.
"Um. Emma is coming over. You need to be here too." I said and prayed that China wouldn't look too much into that.
